Ready Meals: Chef LaToya Larkin

This was a post partum perk of my insurance - 1 meal delivery a month for 6 months. My first 2 deliveries were fine - a day later than expected both times but they arrived and still had some cool on the ice packs. Both meals were delicious. My next delivery was 2 days later than originally scheduled and completely spoiled. Box wet from the ice packs being melted. Straight to the trash. The delivery I received today was RIGHT ON TIME! I was so excited for the meatloaf as I’ve been wanting a good meatloaf recently! Upon opening the box I see the meal was thrown around in the cooler box so carelessly it was busted all over the box which is not an issue I’ve had prior. I taped it back up and took it to the dumpster - all of these meals came to me for free and the 2 meals that I was able to consume were good tasting! My problem is with the slow shipping times on cold items and careless handling so I didnt want Maria’s to receive a 1 star review on my behalf due to things that may be out of their control so 3/5 seemed fair. If you live close and could do pick up or a true overnight delivery I’m sure this service is fantastic through and through but from my experiences shipping is not a strong option for this service.

Was ordered on my behalf and wrong delivery address was given. Upon my trying to contact the company by responding to email texts and other communications from them they still delivered to the wrong address. I contacted the IMMEDIATELY within 5 minutes of the receipt coming to my email and still it went to a place I dont live and carrying the box on the bus with a newborn across town and 3 busses isnt feasible so hope the family who recieved it puts it to good use.

The food is fabulous. The variety is wonderful. It has made preparing dinner fun again.

If there would be place to provide 0, I would do that. I didn't like the produce box, I was supposed to get $50 worth produce, but there was nothing except a head of cauliflower, 1 piece of zucchini, 3 small navel orange, 3 small beats, 1 cilantro, small bag of carrots and 4 lemons, 1 small onion. Is it worth $50 dollars?

Absolutely having a horrible experience with them. All the packages come leaking and thawed out. Yuck! You open the box and everything is upside down, leaking, thawed and damaged. I haven’t been able to taste any of their meals. At this point they should stop sending it to me if they don’t care about actually delivering it properly.
