Ready Meals: Chef Gustavo

Smart Meals has been perfect for me! We’re staying in an Airbnb for a month with limited cooking supplies while also working long hours, so finding Smart Meals has been a lifesaver. The variety is amazing, and I love coming home after a long day of work knowing I have a healthy, flavorful meal ready to go. I also order their lunches, which are the perfect portion to bring into the office. Everything tastes fresh, and they make eating healthy incredibly convenient. I’m so glad we found them!

This is the best meal prep service you’ll ever find. Every single meal I’ve tried has been 10/10. Everything is so flavorful and fresh, I usually pick up Sunday and everything is still so fresh by Thursday. You seriously can’t go wrong with any of their options. Also their chicken is so moist I don’t know how they do it. Such a nice option when you don’t have the time to meal prep or need something quick and healthy. I’ve sent family and friends here and everyone is obsessed!

Smart Meals Houston is a hidden gem on healthy prepared meals — especially their salmon dishes. Can’t rave enough about them (for context I’m pescatarian)!! Every dish I’ve had is well balanced between nutrition and flavor! There’s enough options to never get bored. Huge time saver and affordable with healthy and affordable portions compared to other prepared meal options in the area. Every salmon option I’ve tried has been consistently fresh, perfectly cooked, and thoughtfully seasoned (never dry, never overpowered). The kale siracha salmon dish is top notch as well as the lemon salmon asparagus rice one! Oh love the shrimp Unfried rice. You can tell real care goes into the sourcing and preparation. Beyond the food, Eric, Sharon, Braden, Jordan and entire staff truly set this place apart. They’re knowledgeable, beyond welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. That level of care shows up in every meal — from flavor to presentation to consistency. It’s rare to find well sourced delicious & nutritious seafood options —- truly a game changer for busy weeks when I want to focus on work and set myself up to have the time to enjoy week nights without sacrificing time for cooking stress. Highly recommend — especially if you’re a salmon lover. Also big random fun fact find but the cold brew coffee - smart beans is fantastic! Puts a pep in my step!

I highly recommend Smart Meals, not only does it taste delicious but is also healthy. I also save countless of hours from cooking/cleaning, which gives me more time for my family. I've been to a lot of meal prep places around the USA and houston area but none was as good as Smart Meals. Ive been going to Smart Meals for over 2 years and I've been able to maintain a healthy weight since, which also helps me stay ready for any 5k,10k,half marathon, Hyrox races that come my way. Highly recommend this place.

If I could give 10 stars for the food I would! The food is not only delicious but Sharon and her staff make sure their food is of the best quality. They hire food scientists to make sure all the food is measured and calculated correctly for fat and protein and carbs. The staff is super friendly and helpful to meet your food and diet goals. Besides all that Sharon gives back to the community 10 fold. She donates a lot of food to those who need it. She is also an animal advocate and very passionate about animals. Food is amazing and Sharon and staff are all amazing humans!
