I've lived here for almost 16 years and have had very few issues. It's an old building so of course things break from time to time but maintenance is good and it's very quiet most of the time. It would be nice to have newer appliances and all but you can't beat the price for this prime location. I had an insect issue that was quickly resolved after pest treatment .

Save yourself the trouble! They are the most incompetent people I have ever encountered in my entire life. Not only are they not helpful because of their attitude but they are also not knowledgeable about anything. I wouldn't be surprised if they hire anyone with no experience because the lack of knowledge is VERY noticeable. These apartments are also not safe. Cars get their tires stolen every other day and all the office can say is stay vigilant. There is a huge roach infestation. Just walk outside and watch tree roaches crawling everywhere. If you think that is bad go inside a unit and look around. If you like a working AC and heater you won't like it here. They have a big issue with AC units but since it costs a lot to fix, why now just kinda fix it each time without fixing the whole thing? And this came from maintenance when I asked them to tell me the truth. I can go on and on for days as to why these apartments suck but my last point will be the dishonesty that comes from the management team. They will overcharge your rent. They will also apply fees without telling you first and then they will act like they emailed everyone in advance informing them of changes but that never happened because no one got an email. That's how you know they don't even do their job. They just try to cover their lazy butts. Just save the headache and don't move here. MetroNational is better off selling this property and focusing on expanding as part of the 2026 project.

Repeated tire thefts in complex, 2 last night that I know of as well as a car window bashed in right in the carport which is a few steps from the apartment back door. The neighbor said she thinks they were looking for her tire locks! Four cars were on cinder blocks just 3 weeks ago! Property not monitored, no gates or cameras. We need security 7 days a week and a gate. Adding an update- one of the pools is closed and not kept up, it’s summer!! We pay extra to live by a pool. No pride in taking care of grounds, you pay for use of the pools. The one by the leasing office is kept up because that’s where they walk you through when you look at apartments. It was not like this in the past. Very unfortunate this community has gone down the drain and no one is doing anything about it. On 6/26 gunshots were fired!!!! Multiple gunshots!!!! Tons of police and a fire truck and ambulance were called. Please SCREEN the residents! Please make this a safe place to live. A few people were arrested ( domestic dispute) and I hope they get evicted for shooting a gun near our homes . Those bullets could’ve killed an innocent resident.

I’ve been living here for over 7 years, and I feel like that says a lot in itself. This place has definitely seen some changes over the years different management teams have come and gone, and yes, the building is older but honestly, I’ve stayed because it still offers a decent and affordable place to live in a city where prices keep climbing. The rent here is very reasonable compared to a lot of other places in Houston. It’s true that the building has its quirks older plumbing, occasional maintenance issues but I’ve seen firsthand how hard Cynthia and her team work to stay on top of things. They’re responsive, professional, and really try to take care of the residents and the property. They can’t fix everything overnight, but they make an effort, and I appreciate that. As for safety, unfortunately, crime is something you have to deal with no matter where you live in Houston. It’s not unique to this building or this neighborhood. I try to stay aware of my surroundings, and I’ve never felt unsafe in my apartment or walking to and from my car. At the end of the day, this complex may not be flashy or brand new, but it feels like home. It’s quiet, the neighbors are friendly, and there’s a real sense of community here. If you’re looking for a place that’s affordable, centrally located, and run by people who actually care, I think it’s worth considering.

If you are considering signing a lease here, please stop and read this first. I am not a short-term tenant with a minor frustration. I am a six-year resident who has witnessed this property decline into what I can only describe as an unsafe and unlivable environment. Writing this review is my responsibility so that others don’t fall into the same situation. Management & Front Desk During my six years here, I found management and the front desk to be consistently unresponsive. Phone calls and requests often went unanswered, and serious issues were dismissed without resolution. Courtesy and accountability were lacking throughout my experience. Maintenance Routine and urgent maintenance requests were frequently delayed or ignored. I personally waited weeks—and in one case more than a month—for a critical lock repair, leaving me feeling unsafe in my own unit. Repairs, when completed, often felt rushed or incomplete. Meanwhile, the overall property has visibly deteriorated. Security & Theft Security is virtually nonexistent. Package theft is a constant issue. I personally lost multiple packages over the years, including important deliveries. Despite repeated reports, no effective security measures (such as cameras or lockers) were ever implemented. Residents are left to deal with the consequences on their own. Safety Concerns Perhaps the most serious concern is the repeated presence of dangerous activity. I have personally heard gunshots at night on multiple occasions and witnessed frequent police responses to the property. Combined with inadequate lighting and the absence of visible security, this creates an ongoing sense of fear and vulnerability. Final Assessment After six years here, I cannot identify a single redeeming quality that outweighs the risks and stress of living in this environment. From unresponsive management to serious safety concerns, every aspect of this property has been a disappointment. ⚠️ My advice: Do not sign a lease here. Protect your property, your peace of mind, and your safety by seeking housing elsewhere. ⭐ Note on Reviews: Based on my long experience, I cannot understand how any genuine resident could give this property five stars. Treat overly positive reviews with caution. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
