Dined today at primohoagies. Upon walking in you can tell this is a clean, well kept establishment. It’s quite small, so I wouldn’t recommend coming with a large group to dine in. You order at the counter, our interaction was a bit interesting this afternoon. Right before we were going to pay, my partner wanted to change his 8 inch hoagie to a 6 inch— not a big deal, as the order hadn’t been payed for, or started being prepared yet. The woman taking our order immediately became very frustrated and sighed. My partner asked her “is it that big of a deal?” to which she replied that she’d “have to delete the order and re ring it in.” This rubbed us wrong, not a huge deal but I work in the restaurant industry, guests change their minds constantly and I never show any frustration or annoyance, as it’s apart of being hospitable and kind. I ordered the whacked chicken hoagie, as you can see pictured below, the cheese is served cold. I wanted it melted, so I asked this same woman to which she gave me some pushback, because “that’s just how it comes” and the tomatoes and pesto would become warm, which would be fine to me, i just wanted the cheese melted so I had to insist I wanted it toasted. She finally asked the person preparing to toast it for me. These minor interactions left a sour taste in our mouths, we’d most likely just order take out our next visits. The hoagies themselves were pretty good. The pesto and chicken cutlets were much needed on an empty stomach. My partner enjoyed the Auldie as well, he added lettuce tomato and onion to his. Overall, they have so many options on their menu, we will for sure order again.

Not the best sandwiches for me. I can roll the cheese inside the sandwiches, it's not melted at all. I felt like, they baked the buns and put everything inside after that. I prefer they baked everything together. They could do better on these sandwiches. $21 for 9" sandwich (T diablo)-it wasnt spicy at all, 2oz chips and 1 tea botol. Customer service is ok. I told her, this is my first time,, she should help me with the menu, instead saying ok and quite. Place is clean. I might take my $21 for other sandwich stores nearby.

Hands down the best hoagie I've had in Houston! I've tried both the Italian Diablo and Bada Bing and both were fantastic. Everything is fresh and tasty. The chip selection is unique and fun. Lastly, the seeded bread is a very nice touch.

Catering order review. They knocked it out of the park. These sandwiches were really good. The Nonna’s veggie sandwich tasted like eggplant Parmesan and may have been my favorite. I appreciated that they kept the veggie ones separate from the rest. The sandwiches were nicely packaged and condiments were nicely packed and appreciated. Would highly recommend for a catering option. My event started at 11 and I was able to pick up at 10 (no delays). They were super easy to work with. 10/10

Fantastic sandwiches with authentic Amoroso's rolls which I have wanted to try for ages. Was not disappointed by the rolls, quality of meats, or the service. They were all top notch. The sharp provolone on the Italian is amazing and cuts through even the capicola which is rare for any provolone I have had before. If cheese that sharp is not your style, they got mild provolone and plenty of other cheeses. I didn't catch her name, but the woman who took my order was kind as can be and super helpful. My primo Italian was so good I wanted a regular sized Philly cheesesteak to go. After I ordered I mentioned how excited I was for the amoroso's rolls, how good it was on the Italian, and was super excited to try on a cheesesteak. She said only the primo sized comes on those rolls, not the regular, but said she'd put it on an amoroso's for me at no charge this time! That was my first time going a couple weeks ago and went back with a couple friends a couple days ago. The same woman behind the counter let us sample some "Cooper" provolone that I had never heard of and is very uncommon outside of the Northeast. It was fantastic and I will be ordering my Philly cheesesteaks with Cooper provolone going forward. I live up in spring, closer to the woodlands, so it's a long drive to this location but I will be going back any chance I get. Primo Hoagies and Tony's Italian delicatessen are my top 2 sandwich places in town now
