Nice Peruvian chicken place. The service and food are good. I found the Chicken a bit dry but they have a green sauce that is really delicious to pair it with. Overall it’s a decent place and fast. Inside is very clean also. They charge you a fee to use a Card Vs cash.

I went to eat at Pollo Bravo and from the moment I walked in, the experience was bad. No one greeted me, no “hi,” no acknowledgment at all. I had to walk all the way to the front myself just to get help. The two girls at the counter were rude and short with me and basically just said, “Sit down, we’ll come to you,” with an attitude. I’ll be fair: the food was decent, the portions were good, and the music was nice. Unfortunately, none of that makes up for the terrible service. What really sealed it for me were the hidden fees. At the end, they charged my card without explaining anything, and only afterward did I notice extra charges including a tip and a credit card fee. No one mentioned this upfront. Is that even legal? It felt sneaky and unprofessional. No wonder it’s called Bravo Chicken you leave saying “bravo” that you’re getting out of there. I will definitely never be back.

I visited Pollo Bravo and was disappointed by the experience. The chicken portions were extremely small, especially considering the price. The restaurant should be called Pichon Bravo instead. The restaurant is quite modest, yet they charge a mandatory 25% gratuity for parties of five or more, which feels excessive. In Houston, there are many other restaurants where, for a similar cost, you can enjoy better food, a nicer atmosphere, and a more reasonable gratuity.

My first time here. Let me say, not bad! I came with my family so we had the chicken family combo. It came with their signature chicken, rice & beans, avocado salad & plantains. Oh & one more thing it also came with French fries with sliced wienie dogs which was different but I liked it. Over all, the food was superb, the price was great but the service could have been better.
