We stopped by and had a great experience. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived—the owner himself came over to greet us and was very attentive and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic Mexican cuisine. This is an actual sit-down restaurant, not a typical taqueria, which I think is important to note. I was honestly curious after seeing a few negative reviews, but those didn’t reflect our experience at all. Because it’s a full restaurant with homemade dishes prepared on-site, the prices are understandably a bit different than a taqueria, but well worth it. The chef even came out to explain the meal we ordered, which made the experience even more special. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, we had no issues at all, and we really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend—overall, a very good experience.

I tried their barbacoa tacos and immediately was transported to México, the flavor was authentic and the portion was generous. The customer service was on point and eager to give you good recommendations. The horchata with a shot of espresso was a really balanced drink, not too sweet. The cochinita pibil was probably the only dish I would say was ok. Not bad by all means just not as good as I've had in México. But the barbacoa is where is at 10/10 just perfect. Their habanero salsa also has good flavor!!! Will definitely come back again!!

I don’t say this lightly, I’m a total food snob. I grew up Mexican, eating authentic homemade Michoacán-style food, lived in New York for 12 years, and have traveled extensively trying different cuisines. My standards are high. I woke up today craving enfrijoladas like crazy, and after a quick search, I found this spot nearby. Let me just say… WOW. From the first bite, I was completely blown away. I practically inhaled the entire plate. It instantly transported me back to Mexico City, the only other place I’ve had enfrijoladas this good. Nothing has compared until now. If you know, you know. And if you don’t, do yourself a favor and come try it. This place is officially food snob approved.

I absolutely adore their ambiance and the decor. I decided to try their torta special, which came with a Diet Coke for $14. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer salsa or sides. I attempted to substitute the Diet Coke with an Agua Fresca, but unfortunately, they couldn’t accommodate that request. The overall food prices seem a bit pricey and the torta bread was hard and only one option of meat was given.

The vibe and atmosphere were honestly a 10 out of 10. I loved the energy of the place and the service was good as well. Unfortunately, the food just did not live up to the experience. It was not terrible, but it was underwhelming enough that I would not come back. The tamale was overcooked and had way more masa than chicken. The green sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. The fish tacos were disappointing too because the breading was very soggy. Overall, great ambiance and solid service, but the food did not match the vibe. I would probably recommend trying a different spot.
