Enjoyed our family outing yesterday at the Heights Pluckers. It was pretty full in the dining area and bar, so we opted for the patio. It was cold outside, but they had it closed in and the heaters on. ❤️ Our server was very attentive, checked on us often even though we were out on the patio and the place was crowded. Food was amazing... fried cheese was so good, and that cheese pull 😋 🤌 double meat burger is big enough to be shared. The jumbo chicken strips are huge! Its a little pricey, but portions are worth the cost. Be careful with the Irish Trash Can... it will sneak up on you! 😁

Best wings in Houston. I go there at least 3 times a month to grab a beer(s) and wings. They are pet friendly (outdoor patio). They have trivia on Wednesdays, you might want to avoid if you’re not participating due to noise. They have a legit loyalty program so you can get freebies, discounts and they also have sweet weekly specials. Check it out, great place to eat and hang out with friends. It’s a popular spot so parking could be hard to find, would recommend car pooling. If you’re into sauces make sure to order your wings extra wet.

Waitress is nice but this location is by far the filthiest I have ever been to. We were sat at a booth that was filthy so we refused it. She took us to another booth which was just as dirty so we sat ourself at the table. The table was filthy. The waitress wiped it down for us. I went to the restroom and the floor/toilets was DISGUSTING. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like and hygiene of the employees. If the public areas are filthy, I can only imagine the areas that can’t be seen by customers. After everything, neither booth was cleaned and the host proceeded to sit the next customer at the booth. Lazy is an understatement. Not only was the establishment filthy- the order was brought out wrong. Order honey bbq, bit into HOT spicy bbq. The waitress brought out the correct order. The honey bbq sauce was cold. Wings were overcooked with broken bones.. Everything that you all could’ve screwed up today, you did. You all should be ashamed.

Came to Pluckers for lunch and the ambience wasn’t bad, honestly the emptiest I’ve ever seen a Pluckers. Our server was pretty good so no complaints there, but when we first walked in nobody greeted us at all. We were standing there for a while and the staff at the bar definitely saw us but didn’t say anything like “hey just a minute.” My husband even turned to me and asked if I just wanted to leave, but I was really craving the fried cheese because I’ve been in a cheese mood lately. We got two soft drinks and the fried cheese blocks which were fine. Not as good as Big City Wings but they’re huge and worth the money if you just want to eat cheese. My husband got his usual 10–15 piece wings and I normally do the same, but I didn’t feel like getting my hands dirty today so I ordered the boneless wings basket. That was a big mistake. I’m not sure who their vendor is or if they check the meat before battering and frying it, but I regret not opening them up at the restaurant. I ended up just eating my tater tots and getting full, which was fine since the portions are big and I planned to eat the wings later. When I reheated them tonight I used a plastic fork and knife to cut them into little pieces because it’s almost bedtime and I didn’t want to get messy. Thank goodness I did because I wasn’t even looking closely, just dipping pieces into blue cheese while watching TikTok, and I bit into something that did NOT feel like chicken. It tasted weird and kind of rancid. I looked down and saw what looked like a cyst in the chicken strip. I’m honestly horrified. I spit it out immediately. I love blue cheese so for me to react like that was crazy. I’m so disappointed in this location. Pluckers is known for big portions but these boneless pieces were literally the size of whole chicken breasts and I’m thinking they use a lower quality vendor or don’t cut the chicken down enough to catch stuff like this. Between the lack of greeting when we walked in and then finding that in my food, this whole experience was just unfortunate. I’m still grossed out writing this at 9 pm. I wrote this review on my yelp page as well 😭. Please y’all cut open your chicken before consuming it. I’m lowkey screaming rn.

My car was broken into and my window was smashed in the Pluckers parking lot and the Pluckers staff didn’t seem concerned whatsoever on top of that they did not seem to really care. Additionally the wings were overcooked and it feels like the quality has fallen off at this location. I had been coming to this location for years and the quality fall off paired with the decline in quality has ensured that I won’t ever come back to this location and honestly you shouldn’t either.
