Came for lunch with some friends as one suggested this place had amazing barbecue. The line was long about an hour, but it was totally worth it. An employee works through line selling mini beers, red dollar, which was amazing for the heat outside. Once inside you start cooling off and seeing the menu. We order some brisket along with beef rib, and a bunch of sides. Let’s talk about the important part of the food which was the rib and the brisket. The beef was so tender and delicious that I didn’t even want to try the brisket. Flavor was perfect, it was so tender that it came off the bone like nothing. The brisket was tender, moist with an amazing flavor. The barbecue sauce that was spicy was also very good. I’m not sure if he was a manager, but somebody kept walking around asking people if they needed anything and hyping up tables which I thought was cool. Good place to come eat with friends and family.

Finally made it to Pinkerton’s BBQ in Houston and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The brisket was incredibly tender with great flavor and bark. The jalapeño sausage was easily top 5 sausage we’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned with just the right kick. The turkey was surprisingly moist and definitely worth ordering too. And whatever you do, don’t skip the bacon mac and cheese.

After an hour wait ….. we finally were able to dig in and see what all the rave was about. 1st - grab a drink from the bar while you wait. 2nd - study the me ur and know what you’re going to eat. This helps with the pace of the line. Now, down to the food details: Okay, I did a ton of research on where to eat the best bbq in H-town. So this place kept coming up in our search so we said let’s go for it and tried it. We ordered the beef rib, 1 regular sausage, 3 slices of brisket & 4 pork rib - along with a small jambalaya, rice, mac & cheese, and beans. The meats were good, the sausage for me was the least favorite ….. it seemed overcooked and dry. The best meat for me was the pork ribs and brisket. The sides were BANGING 💥💥💥 But all this to say, do I think it’s worth $160…… no not from my perspective. However, we’re willing to try something once. It’s not bad but I’ve personally had better bbq for much less.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had. The brisket was delicious! The ribs were incredible just absolutely phenomenal. The banana pudding was also amazing!!! The staff was efficient and got the line moving as quickly as possible. Be prepared to wait and spend a pretty penny but it’s well worth.

Pinkerton’s BBQ is fabulous! There was a small line but it moved pretty quickly. Unfortunately I had just eaten but I couldn’t pass up BBQ on my way out of town. The pork ribs and brisket were so tender and the Mac & cheese was legit. I wish I could’ve tried more! I’ll be back for sure!
