I’m taking off a star because the first time I ordered, it was to go. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for it to be ready. I would have understood if the place was busy but it wasn’t; just a couple tables and after I had placed my order two more people sat down. They knew they had forgotten about me because after I asked what where my order was, they apologized profusely but didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. Otherwise, service is excellent. The cashier and server when you do sit down is very respectful and bright. The food is also amazing. Most people go for the pho, which is great. It’s rich and savory. The combo pho comes with a good amount of meat including two cuts of meatball which isn’t common in other pho places so I love that. There aren’t many reviews about wonton soup. My bf loves wonton and I saw they had their own section of it so decided to order their wonton noodle soup. It was GOOD. Pho broth as I said was rich and savory, but the wonton broth was light and refreshing taste. Total opposites of each other but both very good in its own way. My bf was not fond of the egg noodles but I welcomed it in the broth.

I came here based on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m really glad I did. I tried the crispy pillow Pho and bo ne, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The crispy pillow pho was crispy and flavorful, while the bo ne was sizzling hot and well-seasoned. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and had a great attitude, which made the experience even better. The restaurant itself was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Overall, great food, great service, and a very clean space. I’d definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Vietnamese food.

This is the only pho restaurant I found have crispy pillows pho. Tastes very good in general and authentic. I tried couple different pho but only the Tai Lan is special to me. Will come back for these two dishes.

A pho spot with rich flavors and a diverse menu in Sugar Land. I tried the Crispy Pillow Pho (crispy fried pho with sautéed veggies and beef sauce), Pho Combination, Pho Kid, and Vietnamese Coffee — all very tasty! Definitely worth a visit if you love flavorful pho.

This review is solely for their special items. I have tried all 3 of them and they are all tasty and authentic. As a big fan of Bun Cha Hanoi, I have tried many places in Houston & OC but none of them can make their tangy dipping sauce/broth right. This place nails it! The taste is quite close to what I had in Vietnam. I also recommend Pho Tai Lan if you're more into traditional Northen pho, I haven't seen any place offering this dish. Highly recommend!
