We stopped in for a lunch date with a friend while we were in the area. The restaurant is in a great location, though it does share a large parking lot with other businesses, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and we visited on a slower day when it wasn’t very busy. Service was okay, and the overall ambiance was pleasant. They also offer daily specials, which was a nice touch. Our only real disappointment was the menu selection. Since the restaurant advertises itself as Italian, we were surprised to see that there was no gnocchi dish available. There were other Italian options, and when we asked about shrimp scampi, they were able to accommodate our request, which we appreciated. Prices are reasonable depending on what you order, and portion sizes are decent. It’s clear the owners care about the experience and are striving to do a great job. Overall, we would recommend giving this place a try. With a bit more focus on expanding the menu to include more classic and authentic Italian offerings, it could be even better.

Passerella benefits from a fantastic location and gives the impression of a great dining experience. The food itself was pretty good — not extraordinary, but decent enough. The chicken picatta plate was way too “busy” for such a delicate dish. But at least the flavor was there. The food saved the whole visit to be fair. However, the rest of the experience was deeply disappointing. The bread was honestly the worst we’ve ever had in a restaurant — dry, flavorless, and crumbling all over the table. Speaking of crumbs, we actually had to ask the server to crumb the table, and even then he seemed completely uninterested in doing it. The service was attentive but the young man who served us was clearly new in the business, he did not know what a Bellini cocktail was. Big kudos to him for asking the bartender who in the end made a fantastic Bellini for my wife though .The management ? If the gentleman wearing that untidy attire, with scuffed shirt, wrinkled sweater, and had a careless attitude and involvement ( he did not stop once at our table) …if he is the manager…well the place is doomed for failure. It’s such a shame, because the setting and location is truly top notch. The whole experience felt like we’re dining in a Denny’s diner not a fine dining location. They have good potential but they definitely need a management overhaul and better training for their staff. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will definitely not return.

This is slowly becoming my new favorite spot. The service here is top notch. All the staff members are extremely friendly and hospitality. The food is also really good. I appreciate and love the complimentary champagne you get upon arrival. I love the calamari for an appetizer. It’s called something else on the menu which I can’t remember now. I am still going down the menu to find a staple dish I looove for a main course. So far I like them all but have not found that staple yet. The atmosphere is romantic, if you chose and outdoor sitting you’ll have the perfect view of the board walk and if people watching is your thing, this is a 10/10 seating area. Special thanks to Noah our last server who made us remember it was our anniversary cause my partner had forgotten. We got a complementary desert too

We went tonight to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I let them know ahead of time and they went above and beyond to celebrate! The appetizers were delicious, we got the braised meatballs and they were amazing! I had the lemon chicken piccata and my wife had the cacio de Pepe. Both plates were absolutely fantastic! Our server, John, was really great! He made sure we were well cared for and ensured that the experience was memorable! They also had a birthday card and a big piece of chocolate cake with a candle for my wife’s birthday! Thank you, John! We will definitely be back!

Great place! We were greeted and offered a complimentary sparkling wine. The bread was delicious. I got the salmon and my husband the Alfredo pasta, both were delicious. They also gave us a free dessert because I was celebrating my birthday with a courtesy free appetizer for our next visit. All the staff is really attentive. We really enjoyed our dinner.
