Pappa Gyros

We came for lunch & enjoyed one of the best Greek lunches we have ever had! Chris the owner was very welcoming and kind and the old school diner was aesthetically pleasing! The hummus especially was authentic and made with the most tasty olive oil but overall the food and atmosphere 10/10!

I first came to Papa Gyros about 2 years ago when I lived close by, and had just moved to Katy. Recently I’ve been seeing Chris, and all of his videos in my Instagram feed, and it reminded me I hadn’t been here for so long. Went back today, and was instantly reminded this is my favorite Greek restaurant around. Great service, great food! Portions size with the plates is awesome! My son loved his burger, and I loved the hotdog I got. We ordered a second identical plate to go, and also got a bunch of baklava to go! Sadly we will be moving away soon, but this place is great and we will always try to stop in whenever we visit the area!

We had an absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious and the portions were generous. When a family next to us had a spill, the staff jumped in right away—helping clean everything up and even replacing their meal without hesitation. That level of care and attention really stood out. Truly outstanding customer service! 💯

Pappa Gyros Greek Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic—every dish I’ve tried has been fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. What really sets this place apart is the owner, Chris. He’s always there with a smile, personally greeting guests and making everyone feel at home. You can truly tell he cares about both the food and the people. Highly recommend!
