We went for Sunday afternoon buffet and they had brunch special. I like their spread with several Indian dosas, idli, vada and sambar included for specials. Their spread was nice. Especially i liked their starters like fish amritsari and grill chicken. Their lamb curry with butter nan was tasty. Biryani was ok. The chai is extra, which ends the long buffet with a bang. The service is welcoming. Just that the place needs a little lighting.

Tried Popsicle Chicken and Goat Biryani at Palette Indian today and honestly, the service was fantastic. Super warm, attentive, and professional… really appreciated that! The food was good, but having lived in Toronto, Canada (where the Indian food scene is unbelievably strong), it’s always tough to find that same level elsewhere. In Texas so far, the Indian spots I tried around downtown Houston, Katy and Sugar Land definitely came close and reminded me a bit of Toronto quality. Still exploring places around here, hoping to find those truly standout Toronto-level flavors in The Woodlands area soon.

Hidden Gem in Spring TX. This place is good. Only need more traffic. I had buffet and very crispy dosa. My Dr friend came all the way from Pearland TX and I live in Spring TX. All the dishes were very good. I loved the goat curry , chilly panir and biryani. My best wishes for the team of palette.

10/19/2025. Visited this East Indian restaurant solo. The menu covers the typical range of masalas and curries, but the vegetarian and vegan selection is notably large, taking up an entire page. Spice levels were clearly labeled, which is helpful for ordering. I started with the Gobi, a fried cauliflower appetizer in a tangy, spiced sauce. It was light and fluffy, serving as a good, non-meat starter. The heat was mild and didn't linger. The dish included onions, bay leaves, cilantro garnish, and small components that appeared to be jalapeño skins. For the main course, I had the Mixed Vegetable Chettinaad, which was delicious. It's a peppercorn and coconut curry with a solid mix of vegetables, including carrots, peas, potatoes, and both green and red peppers. I would 100% eat that main dish again. The garlic naan I ordered wasn't crunchy, but the flavor was excellent, making it better than other naan I’ve had. Service from the server, Sai, was good; he was friendly and willing to talk about the menu. The ambiance featured background jazz music, which was pleasant, although I think some mellow Indian instrumental music would better suit the overall theme. It looks like they handle a high volume of takeout orders. I'd definitely return here.

Flavor galore!! Dishes made from scratch, fresh, full of flavor, exquisite seasoning. The cauliflower appetizer is not to be missed. All our meals here were great, even for plant eaters plenty to choose from. Highly recommended. Lucky if you live in the neighborhood 😁
