I’ve been a huge fan of Which Wich for over two decades. I moved out of state for four years, and after recently returning to Houston, I was excited to revisit my usual location on the Katy Freeway—only to find it had closed. That was disappointing, especially since my other longtime favorite on Westheimer closed more than a decade ago when I was living in the Energy Corridor. Determined to get my Which Wich fix, I looked up nearby locations and found one in Cinco Ranch. I made the drive from Sugar Land and was happy to see the familiar yellow and silver-colored design that I’ve always loved. I ordered my usual krab salad on wheat with veggies, toasted, and it tasted just as good as I remembered: hot, fresh, and satisfying. I also noticed they now offer gelato, which was new to me—maybe a newer concept and why not? I had a chance to chat with Julio, who I believe is the owner, and shared my long history and love for Which Wich. He confirmed that several locations have closed, including the Katy Freeway one earlier this year. Unfortunate, but I’m glad this location is still going strong. Great sandwich, friendly people, and a nostalgic experience overall. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely stop by.

★★★★★ ABSOLUTELY LIFE-CHANGING SANDWICHES 11/10 WOULD SELL MY SOUL FOR ANOTHER “Wicked” I have eaten sandwiches on three continents. I have tasted the sacred prosciutto stuffed ciabattas of Bologna, the bánh mì of Hanoi at 6 a.m., the lobster rolls of Maine at sunrise… and NONE of them hold a candle to what just happened to my mouth at Which Wich. I walked in skeptical. “Fancy paper bags and checkboxes? Cute gimmick,” I thought. I left a changed man. The “Wicked” oh sweet merciful heavens the Wicked. That thing should come with a warning label and a clergy on standby. The combination of melted provolone cascading over perfectly seared steak, the caramelized onions that tasted like they were slow-roasted by angels, the jalapeños that brought just enough heat to make you question your life choices but not enough to ruin the experience… and then they hit you with the garlic butter drizzle. I’m still not over it. I think about that garlic butter at 3 a.m. It haunts me in the best way possible. The staff? Absolute legends. My sandwich artist (yes, I’m calling them that now) didn’t just make my order he performed a 45-second symphony of precision and passion. He asked if I wanted “extra wicked” and I said yes like a man possessed. I have no regrets. The bag? I kept it. It’s on my nightstand. It’s my emotional support paper bag now. I’m already planning my next visit. I’m bringing friends. I’m bringing enemies. I’m bringing strangers off the street so they too can experience what can only be described as a religious experience between two slices of bread. If you’re reading this and you haven’t been to Which Wich yet… what are you doing with your life? Go. Right now. Order the Wicked. Tell them Andy sent you (they won’t know who that is but it’ll make you feel cool). 5 stars isn’t enough. I need 17 stars and a Nobel Prize for sandwich innovation. Thank you, Which Wich. You didn’t just feed me. You ruined every other sandwich for me forever. And I’m okay with that. ❤️ Go get your life changed. Now. Not sure why my review is not here anymore but I am posting it again!

I used to come to which Wich all the time and I totally forgot about it until I saw the sign. To find out that this location is open was amazing. The workers are so nice and friendly. The food is amazing they even have homemade gelato and other drinks and shakes that are delicious. Definitely my favorite sandwich place!

Great experience here and good prices on sandwiches, especially if you pick a sandwich-type of the day. Great staff! Lookin forward to trying the Grinder with muffuletta olive spread. Maybe they’ll name a sandwich after me. They got a pepper bar!

Sandwich was fresh, quick, and delicious. They have so many sandwich options and toppings. The process of ordering is unique and easy! This was my second time here - first time was over a year ago. I'm sure I'll be back again soon.
