Not Jus' Donuts Bakery

Came to Houston for a friend's birthday trip and with none of us familiar with the area, I had to take a chance on finding a good bakery to order a cake. Hit the jackpot with Ms. Myrtle's! I called about 4 days ahead to order the cake. The person I spoke to was very friendly, professional, and helpful. Ordered a marbled cake with chocolate buttercream. It was delicious!! Even those of us who aren't huge fans of cake enjoyed it. In picking up the cake we chatted with super friendly, relatable staff that made us feel right at home. We even ended up ordering some yummy gumbo while we were there. Thanks!!

I pass this spot and finally decided to go in. They offer vegan desserts special order. Yes!!! I said vegan! The place is cute! Neatly tucked away its a pleasant oasis and prime spot for a break amidst the daily hustle and burden bustle, bump and grind. Enjoy some cold fresh squeezed lemonade with the perfect amount of tartness. If it didn’t take me back to family reunions and Sunday dinners at grandmas. We kept our drinks in the creek to stay cool and that’s what this place brings back. Happy times family memories. Go by get a tea cake. I highly recommend a break at Ms. Myrtle’s

I loved my experience with Ms. Myrtle’s bakery! I gave them my cake inspiration pictures for my friend’s 50th birthday and they truly delivered! The cake was beautiful AND delicious! Everyone was raving about it and they have a customer for life! Thank you to the Ms. Myrtle’s team for their exceptional service and making my friend’s birthday amazing!

It’s a bumpy ride to get there with all the construction work. Definitely worth it though. Red velvet cake is good. To be honest all their cakes are good.

Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery brought my VCR cake to life for my 30th Birthday ’90s Bash. It was a huge hit amongst all of my guests. It completed the look of the dessert table and tasted great. They suggested that we go with Heavenly Butter for the cake and they were definitely right. This was our second time ordering a custom cake from Ms. Myrtle’s and I’m sure it won’t be our last! Thank you again for helping make my 30th birthday celebration a Blockbuster hit!
