Two Peas
First time eating here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend and I had a date night Tuesday and Italian seemed to be a mutual desire for both of us, which is surprising since we usually opt for tacos or a local taqueria. The restaurant is nice and staff was friendly. Menu had lots of options but we decided on basics for our first try. I got the lasagna and she got the half manicotti half cannelloni which came with a salad and garlic bread. We were very pleased with all. We will return!

Sweet Harm
The place was dead for a Saturday evening, so we were seated quickly. The main dining area was decorated with beautiful paintings, yet the tables lacked tablecloths or centerpieces, making the place feel like a nicely decorated Dennys rather than an Italian restaurant. Having paper napkins at the table didn't help the vibe. The waitress (Ariana) was sweet and greeted us kindly. She brought our drinks and bread to the table quickly, given no other customers in the place. The food. The crabcake I ordered for an appetizer was overly salty, as was the sauce it was drowning in, so I sent it back. The salad was crisp enough, and their dressing was not overbearing. However, neither of us finished it. The table bread tasted as if it were microwaved to warm it up, although the staff claimed it had not been. I ordered the shrimp and veg for the main course, and my son had the Chicken Fed-Alfredo. Both of which were ok at best. The chicken was a bit chewy, and the vegetables were slightly overcooked. Overall, 3 stars is fair. This would not be a date night destination, nor do they try to be. But the staff makes up for the food.

Food was delicious. The sole reason it was rated 4 stars was because our salad had brown spots on the lettuce...old and wilted. The entees were delicious, service was pleasant. Our server was very kind, slow on table follow-up, no drink refills until close to our departure (restaurant was fairly empty, therefore, she wasn't too busy). Would definitely give it another opportunity, as it's a gem in the Richmond area.

Went today at 11:30 and it was empty. This little place is a diamond in the rough. Service was great and food was awesome. I had the lunch version of Nick's Shrimp the House Specialty. Don't understand why there was no business. I definitely will be back.

Amazing restaurant with the best authentic Italian cuisine I've ever had. A hidden gem. Seriously, go check them out.
