"DELICIOUS SALADS BUT LONG LINES!" 08-08-2025 I joined some coworkers for lunch here, and it was my very first visit. They introduced me to the place, and I must say, the salad I ordered was absolutely delicious. I went with the Shrimp and Avocado Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, and every ingredient was fresh and well balanced. No complaints on quality, taste, or price, especially with the teacher discount, it was worth every penny. Customer service was decent. The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the cashier who took my order was very helpful in explaining the menu since I was a first-timer. They do offer self-ordering kiosks, but the restaurant was so crowded that even those had long lines, making them less useful during a busy lunch rush. Because of how packed it was, the servers were making small mistakes with orders. While my meal came out just fine, two of my coworkers received the wrong items. They didn't complain and just kept what they were given, but it was frustrating considering how long we had already waited in line and then at the table for our food. Waiting is one thing, but getting the wrong order can make the experience less enjoyable. Food Ratings: Shrimp and Avocado Salad - 5/5 Cobb Salad - 5/5 (per my coworker) Turkey and Swiss Sandwich - 4/5 (per my coworker) Turkey Avocado Sandwich - 4/5 (per my coworker) Chicken Tortilla Soup - 4/5 (a little spicy, per my coworker) Ambiance - 2/5 (very noisy and elbow-to-elbow crowded) Overall, this spot is not bad at all. The food is excellent, and the service is okay, not amazing, but not rude either. I came during peak weekday lunch hours, so the crowd might have had a lot to do with the minor mistakes and long wait times. For the food alone, I would definitely recommend giving it a try, though I'd suggest visiting at a less busy time if you can. I look forward to coming back to try their sandwiches and soups; my coworkers' meals looked pretty tasty.

King Feezy

We were in the mood for some Deli Style Sandwiches and decided to try a spot we've never visited before. Newk's Eatery happened to be within our driving range, so we stopped by. We both ordered the half and half combo (The Royal and Turkey Avocado) along with lobster bisque soup and Caesar Salad. We ordered an additional Mac n Cheese, bag of chips, along with 2 drinks. Everything was pretty much straightforward, and to the point, food tasted good, and the soup was hot and tasty. The price for 2 people came out to almost $40, which seems a bit high, but nonetheless, the food was good enough for us to consider coming back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Ms Miss

The Portabella Veggie Sandwich was mediocre at best. The bell peppers were barely cooked, which really affected the texture and flavor of the sandwich. It was not what I expect from Newk’s. More concerning was the peanut butter & chocolate cake slice. It did not taste fresh at all. The texture and flavor suggested it was old, and I honestly can’t believe it was sold to a customer in that condition. This was not a good experience overall, and for the price paid, the quality was unacceptable.

Food is always great when they get the order correct lol! But when they mess up they are always willing to fix it without giving you any type of attitude or lip like other places. Highly recommend Newks

food was good! pizza was way better than Panera. this was our first time trying Newks. i don’t recommend their brownies. not good. i like that they give cups you could take home though.
