Neway Restaurant is my go-to place for good food and karaoke entertainment in Houston Chinatown. I always brag about Neway to my friends who love to sing karaoke. I particularly like the food they serve. It's authentic Chinese cuisine. OMG, I don't smell any cooking in the main dining area nor the karaoke rooms. I believe there is a full-size kitchen in here. Because I could order just about everything from the menu during weekday, including Peking Duck. Food is really good, I could eat here every week even if I don't sing. If you sing in the main dining area, just make sure you order $20 worth of food and drink per person if you want to sing. Otherwise, they rent the rooms by the hour. Either way, it's great to be fed and entertained at Neway.

Cool spot for some delicious food, and beverages, excellent service, as well as karaoke (main dining area, and private room karaoke available.) Private rooms are $30.00 per hour. Staff is very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. Food is tasty, and reasonably priced, with good portion size. Cool, casual atmosphere. Located on second level. Open late.

This place is awesome! Cindy served us and she was very attentive and friendly. The environment of Neway is unique and allows an experience all its own with personal karaoke rooms along with one out in the open. Food and sake were on point too!

The workers are rude and stingy, you’ll get scammed and be charged for longer than you stayed - also don’t bother arguing with them because they’ll blame their customers before taking accountability. Keep an eye on the clock and keep receipts or they’ll take advantage of you

Came here for group karaoke, $60 per hour for our party of 8 (not sure what size room we got). I believe this is a primarily Chinese karaoke place, they have a tablet where you can choose from their selection (I prefer also having a google chrome cast option because there were many songs I wanted to sing that weren't in their library). Staff checked in frequently which was very nice and were very prompt about fixing things! Water bottle was like $2 each. They offer 5% off using cash or zelle
