Special shoutout to Vishwa, Anand, Anvik, and Yogesh for taking such great care of us, your hospitality truly made the experience even better. We visited Royal Biryani House today and honestly if you’re someone who wants the to taste the best biryani here in Houston Texas , this place is it!!!!! We started with the Mutton Pepper Fry, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and packed with spice without being overwhelming. The Kallu Thagina Kodi was a standout for us; rustic, authentic, and full of deep masala flavor that really reminded us of home-style cooking. The Rayalseema Karam Gobi was crispy, spicy, and addictive, the kind of appetizer you can’t stop eating. We also tried the Chicken Tandoori, which was juicy, well-marinated, and grilled just right. The highlight of the meal was the Bezawada Boneless Chicken Biryani, aromatic rice, tender chicken, and that classic Andhra heat done perfectly. Overall, the food felt authentic, portions were generous, and the flavors truly stood out. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the customer experience. Highly recommend Royal Biryani House if you’re looking for real South Indian food in Katy. We’ll definitely be back! Overall I’ll give a 10/10 for my experience.

Excellent food and service! We ordered Corn Soup, Paneer Tikka, Kofta, Gobi Manchurian, Chaat, Crispy Corn, and Jalebi Falooda. The food quality was outstanding with authentic flavors, portions were generous, and the prices were great. Friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Wife wants Indian food for dinner tonight. So we went to Biryani House at 1463. We ordered the Gobi manchurian, pepper shrimp, chicken Tikka masala and a garlic Naan. The gm is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is perfect. Although we ordered medium spice level for the chicken and shrimp, they were pretty mild. Next visit we will turn up the heat. According to the server, they have this outlet in Texas, one outlet in Virginia and two outlets in Seattle area. Also they have Goan fish curry, my fave, as another off menu item. Pretty good. Give them a try.

I recently visited Royal Biryani House and ordered the Veg Dum Biryani — it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were so authentic and aromatic, just like traditional Hyderabadi biryani. Every bite was rich with spices, perfectly cooked rice, and fresh vegetables. The portion size was generous and the presentation was also impressive. If you’re a biryani lover, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommended for anyone looking for truly authentic taste and great quality.

We’ve been regular customers and usually enjoy the biryanis here — they are consistently good. However, today’s experience with the Double Ka Meetha was extremely disappointing. The dessert tasted oily and spoiled, as if it had been fried in spicy oil instead of ghee or clarified butter. It even had a faint spicy flavor, which is very unusual for a sweet dish. Some portions were still cold and frozen inside, which makes it seem like they are just reheating frozen desserts. The texture and smell both felt off — almost foul — and it completely ruined our appetite after enjoying the biryani. It’s sad because we really like this place for biryani, but this dessert experience left a very bad impression. I hope the restaurant reviews their dessert preparation and quality before serving.
