Motherland African Food

This place is simply amazing!!! I’m a Nigerian that happens to be pescatarian and this is probably my favorite Nigerian restaurant!!! I ordered on uber eats and to say that the food was amazing would be an understatement!!! Not only do they respect my wishes when i ask them not to put meat in it (most Nigerians don’t care to read the notes i write in the orders) but the actual food is incredible!!! The food is authentic & the portion sizes are incredible! I ordered the okra soup and ewedu!!! Would definitely come back!!!

I always order from here on DoorDash, and they never disappoint me🥹 the ogbono is PERFECTTTTT. It reminds me of exactly how my father used to make it when I was a child. The efo (vegetable soup) is also good and so is the ayamase (designer stew). The only place I get my Nigerian food from!!!

This restaurant is one of the best in Houston! The food was FANTASTIC! wonderfully seasoned, and packaged well. Her nkwobi, isi ewu, abacha are sooo the bomb!
