⭐ Honest Review – Monks Indian Restaurant I visited Monks Indian Restaurant for dinner and ordered a family pack goat biryani (spicy). 🔹 Positives: The rice had good flavor. Sweets and curry were tasty. 🔹 Concerns: Even though I requested spicy, the biryani was not spicy. The goat meat was not cooked properly — it was chewy, smelly, and didn’t taste fresh. This raises a serious concern about the quality and freshness of the food. 👉 Food taste matters, but customer health is most important. Please focus on serving fresh, well-cooked food so that everyone can enjoy safely and confidently. If the quality improves, I’d be happy to change this review.

We dined at Monk’s in Cypress couple of days ago and were pleasantly surprised to see a newly added bar. It looked very nicely stocked and well decorated. We enjoyed some delicious Indian-Chinese food and wonderful service from Jay. The portions were huge. We will be back!

Excellent place for lunch or dinner. The menu is high and there’s plenty of choices for people who love Indian food plus for those just trying it out. If you’re new to this cuisine then try any of the fried rice dishes. I love the veggie spring rolls too! The service was quick. They can accommodate large groups as well!

We went here for dinner and Dave took care of us. The garlic naan, chicken masala and saag paneer was delicious! We got plenty of food that we took the rest home. I forgot to take a photo so I took photos of our take out containers. I can’t wait to eat it again!

The food is PHENOMENAL! Best Indian food I’ve had in the US! The flavors were perfectly balanced. The service was great also. So delicious, we’ll definitely be back!
