I visited this gem today. Cole was very sweet and patient because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I ended up getting the catfish and shrimp. She offered me a drink on the house while I waited. The restaurant gave nostalgic vibes like back in the day when we went to grandmas house and I loved it. Food was good and hot, definitely a must see 😍

The sweet potatoes were done right. It was a perfect blend of sweet. The oxtails were so good and tender. Yassssss ma'am. I enjoyed the music that was playing on the inside. It gave grown folk atmosphere. Ordering was quick, friendly, and accurate.

Have to say, I stopped by for a bite and was greeted warmly... After waiting on the food to be done, I was offered a drink on the house to show hospitality... Eating here for the first time. Enjoyed everything we had. The collard greens were some of the tastiest. Fried catfish was moist and delicious. Pretty much all the sides we had were yummy and seasoned well. Service was with a smile and efficient. Even had dessert, butter cream cake, yummy 😋. This place is cute, just clean and comfortable. Dine-in or take out. Bonus, nice chill music in the background.
