I have been both a friend and fan of Edgar and his cooking is always amazing. Yes it might sound biased coming from me but Edgar never fails to impress anyone I take to Azul or whenever I have him cater a party. I recommend Azul to everyone and it comes with my highest praises. Not only do you get incredible food but you directly support an incredible guy and his amazing family!

We love the unique dishes and the crew that makes this place feel cozy and welcoming. The stuffed squash blossoms are amazing. The Empandas are outstanding and the ceviche is fresh and flavorful. Great portions!!

WOW! I will have to come to Houston more often. The food here is A-MAZ-ING! All original dishes with amazing flavor. From the Wild Blossom Honey and Chipotle Calamari to the Soft Shell Crab Tacos to the Vuelve a la Vida Ceviche, it's a foodies Paradise. I wish I lived close so I could come and try everything on the menu. Chef Edgar and his wife, Lucy, were an absolute joy, warm and welcoming. Their staff carry on the welcoming feeling, making us feel at home, like long time regulars. Great food, great service, absolutely great place!

1st time here. I'm glad I asked on FB Katy foods /places to eat. Amazing staff! Carter took great care of us from beginning to end!! Edgar the chef came to us as well and spoke about the dishes on menu. Cute decor. Love the atmosphere! Loved the music too. We loved that our 3 yr anniversary was knocked out of the Park by EVERYONE at AZUL SEAFOOD TAPAS!!!! We are definitely new fans!!! Thank you!!

Second time. Nothing is bad on the menu so far. Delish! Surprisingly good. Had the ceviche with shrimp crab and lobster. It was real good. Kind of pricey though but good. Also had the cod tacos. They were nice sized and filling 10 bucks for 3 of them. Nice piece of fish in each one that was panko breaded and fried. They have 3 types of tacos and you can order one of each instead in you want. The dessert ordered was homemade Apple empanadas and ice cream (pictured below). Could of ate about a dozen more of those it was so good. Staff was really nice and talkative. A chef from another restaurant was in there eating by himself while we were there and he had enough food for 4 people, he took some home. He did share some of his food with us so we could sample some other items on the menu. The sushi roll he let us try was the bomb. We bought an expensive bottle of Saki to have with dinner 135.00 bottle but it was killer good. Good cold beer on tap also. Great hole in the wall for a date night. Not many seats though. We will be back.
