Located I guess Garden Oaks? Is Millers Cafe. Since 1980 this bad boy has been pumping em out (pause). It’s home to the world famous “almost famous burger”. Now I live closeish to here and just the random restaurant in a shopping center caught my eye. Now this is in a shopping center so there’s ample parking. Walk in and it’s straight outta a time long forgotten. Kind of. lol they literally have an old Houston Oilers schedule on the walls. I go up to order and am just amazed by the aesthetic of this place man. It’s like your favorite dive bars favorite dive bar. S/o @texasdives Chili 8/10 - just som quality chili there. Not too much cumin and not too hot. Just some nice food that’ll warm you up. Double Cheeseburger 8/10 - quality burger here. You know what you’re getting and it’s cooked right in front of you. Def one of those places you tell your gal you’re gonna take her to. One of those “they cook the food in front of you”. I fw the vibe of this place so much. I’m glad the food was good. 100000% check it out. Big Truss. Follow me on IG Eats_By_Puig

My wife was interested in the chili cheese fries and picked this local place which we hadn't known. After getting here and looking at the menu we decided to get chili cheese burger, BBQ burger, fries and onion rings. All the food was tasty and filling. Fast and friendly service. "Vintage" deco is very interesting and we walked around to take it all in. Wish we had found out about this place sooner!

Possibly the best bacon cheeseburger I have ever had! BIG pile of bacon heaped on two GENEROUS patties and cheese galore. This burger was so good, I ate it with my eyes closed to not interfere with all the deliciousness happening to my other senses. Can’t go wrong and worth a drive if you want a top notch burger.

Leaving this review while I'm here. May 15, 2025. I came in here thinking there was waitresses. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 But the really nice lady Stacy was very helpful with the menu and even gave me a quick history lesson of the place. Prices are decent. 👌🏻 The atmosphere gave me an eccentric vibe. It's a hole in the wall type. Easy to miss. Mom and pop shops are always the best. The smell of burgers will make your mouth water. They cook everything fresh. Now for the taste test... gimme a few. 😋......... It was great. The portions are definitely filling. The fries are perfectly crisp and not soggy when the chili is on top. Burger is grilled to perfection. It was definitely worth the price. Their sweet tea is pretty good. Not sugared down. I seen they also sell beer. I will totally be coming back.

I got the double bacon cheeseburger with fries, and it’s easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. Juicy, full of flavor, and exactly what a burger should be. They didnt slack with thr bacon. Places in the ’80s and ’90s used to make burgers like this—before cookie-cutter chains started serving the same dry, boring patties everywhere. Miller’s Café is a reminder of how burgers should be done.
