Mike and Mike Southern Food LLC

Me, my husband and my daughter went here last Thursday. Whatever bad that was said about there food they must have taken and turned it around. The fish we all 3 had was crunchy and seasoned just right. Mac and cheese was good and cheesy 😁. Mine and my daughter's sweet potatoes were very good. My husband decided to get the dirty rice and he wasn't all to happy with it. He wishes he would have ordered a different side or double Mac. We are not new to Mike and Mike's. We've ordered from them 1st on fry and then in Spring, TX. Evidently they've always been good when we eat there cause we're still ordering now that they're on Jones Rd. Sorry no photos cause we went right in after we received our order.

Amazing all the way around!! Nice young man that took order. Very hospitable! And the food was seasoned..SEASONED!!

I ordered the Chicken with 2 sides for myself and catfish with 2 sides for a friend. The meat of the chicken itself wasn’t seasoned. I could tell the seasoning was put on the chicken after it came out of the grease and it was burnt. The chicken had an old grease odor as well. The sides were pretty decent. Way better than I expected. I tasted a little bit of the catfish. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad.

The food has no flavor. No flavor to anything. I bought the oxtail plate with 2 sides plus a pork chop plate and a fish plate extra side and a three koolaid for about $90 Probably the worst plate of food I ever tasted. The rice tasted like soggy water & don’t get me started on the gravy. Threw the whole plate in the trash & wasted $90 Moral of the review is don’t waste your money at this place, would not recommend it.

The food was just okay. It lacked flavor and seasoning, and I was expecting homemade tartar sauce but received packets instead, which was fine. The burger patty had no kind of flavor or seasoning. I think I set my expectations a little too high. The Kool-Aid was amazing, though! The customer service was good, even though you could tell he was ready to go, which is understandable since they had probably been there all day. I would possibly give them another try, but I’d definitely go earlier in the day.
