Mi Charro

This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I would drop by every week when I lived in the area in the past. I particularly liked the chicken burritos (can't remember the number but it was a little on the spicy side) but all of their menu was/is pretty good. The staff were nice to me. I was able to order/communicate in English with no problem (but I frequently had to use my limited Spanish to order at other similar restaurants nearby). I'm glad to see they are still in business.

I love a restaurant that brings out multiple flavors of salsas. The bright red one and green salsas were good. Not too spicy. Food was delicious. Their chicken fajitas were my favorite. They make their corn tortillas in house. Margaritas were a no go. Not good at all. But their Michelada’s are good! Didn’t taste like tomato soup.

After seeing this place a few times and seeing the great reviews we decided to try it out. We were really disappointed with the service. The lady who served us chips seemed upset we asked for chile con queso and brought it to the table with no smile or a word and left us. We had to look around for another waitress who we kept trying to flag down for a refill or chips. The food was pretty okay the burger and fried shrimp was the only good tasting thing we had. The fajita and grill shrimp could had been better with the quantity and the taco al pastor was very dry.

11/21/2024 This will be the last time we come here make sure you check your chips we got reused chips in the suposebly fresh basket served to us. (See pictures) When they brought the new basket it was the same basket. Then I asked for my sons burger to be plain they brought it with everything. They had the odasity to just wipe everything of it and give it to him just like that. The place was empty and not even busy. She even repeated the order back to me confirming me that she got everything how I wanted it. Then when the food got here, my sons burger is wrong and she even said it comes with everything and had to explain no I asked for it plain (sin nada) and you even repeated the order back to me.

Best place to go for some great service! Food is always on point! Agua FRESCAS are awesome, too!! Homemade tortillas are perfection.
