Mexican Mom

My wife and I stopped in the quaint little place for a quick bite. It turned into an entire evening of amazing food, great service, friendly conversation and what I see as the start of a new friendship. The husband and wife team are both friendly and very attentive to their guest. The joy they get from cooking and serving makes the whole experience wonderful. If you ever get a chance to taste a cooks food who loves it and considers it Art, don’t pass it up! We will definitely return for the rotating menu of new dishes they strive to provide and hope to see and meet you there too.

We stopped into this cozy Mexican Cocina and had a great lunch! Although the restaurant is tucked away … it was definitely worth finding! The food was delicious and the service / staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered Beef Empanadas, Poblano Empanadas and the Pico de Colibrí. Excelente ‼️

This place is a true hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised. Fair warning - not your chips n salsa, cheesy tex-mex kinda place, far better. Menu and seating are both somewhat limited, but food and service is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Celebrated my birthday here with a group of 12, and it was amazing! It’s tucked away in the south part of The Woodlands, which makes it feel like a true hidden gem. If you’re craving real Mexican mom-style cooking, this is definitely a spot you don’t want to miss. We ordered chilaquiles, two rounds of empanadas, and queso fundido to start — and every single dish was delicious. The flavors tasted homemade and authentic. For my main, I had the milanesa, and it was incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked. The owners are there making sure everything is perfect, the place is very cute and desserts are also delicious! No doubt, our favorite Mexican restaurant by far!!
