Mandola’s Italian Deli was the perfect lunch date spot with my love. Every bite was delicious, savory, and honestly tasted like it was homemade and made with love. The kind of food that feels comforting but still special. Cozy vibes, incredible flavors, and the perfect place to slow down and enjoy good food with your person. We’ll definitely be back. 🍝✨

This was our first time dining here for lunch today and I'm sorry we haven’t been sooner because we love going to a real Deli and this was the real deal. The staff were kind and helpful and the food was delicious. Our table had the following: Roast Beef and Cheese Poboys, Meatball and Cheese Poboy and Lasagna that came with garlic bread. We also had sides of potato salad and deviled eggs. Everything was delicious! The Roast Beef and Cheese poboys came with a bowl of au jus to dip and it did not disappoint. The potato salad was very good and the deviled eggs tastes like my grandma made them...tasty. We got some sandtarts for the ride home, which was a nice end to the meal. This place is over by U of H, so if youre in the area...and well, if youre not in the area, drive over there to get something to eat. You won't regret it.

A well known Italian restaurant in the neighborhood, although this was my first time eating here. The food was so good. He had the spaghetti with meatballs and I had the chicken parmesan. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

Was wfh and got hungry...I didn't wanna cook so I ordered this off of uber eats. First time trying the Pasta Thomas and it was AMAZING. Will be having that again next time. I've had their Cesar Salads before and it was as good as always. I ordered, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere recently, but they've been good the times I've gone in person.

Don’t let the area or older building deter you from coming here. They are part of the Carrabas/Mandola Dynasty. if you have ever been to their restaurants you know what I’m talking about. Everything is made from scratch and also served piping hot when it comes to your table, no matter the time. The lunch rush is madness with the lunch crowd from UH/ TSU , but orders taken are fast and the wait was not long at all. They definitely have their system down. Food is also available for catering or for when you don’t feel like cooking with family size portions. There is so much history here , both in the family line as well as the city. They truly are a hidden gem. Parking lot (2there are 2, one in front, 2nd in back) is free but fills up quickly, groups should carpool if possible.
