Best sichuan food in Houston in my opinion. Great flavors and friendly staff. Portion size is generous. We always get the hot and spicy chicken, spicy beef and cordyceps. We got the red oil dumplings and salt and pepper prawns this time which were perfect. We cant wait to go back.

Haley was amazing and nice, she made sure my food was ordered promptly and even had the chance to chat with me while I ate. There 5 ⭐ spice was amazing and mouth watering. 👄

Came here on a date for the first time, we loved the food! Definitely coming back with the family next time. Food quality is flavorful! We also got some spicy chicken. Highly recommend!

Mala Sichuan is a true hidden gem. Every time I eat here, I’m reminded why I keep coming back — the flavors are bold, addictive, and deeply authentic. The spices are used not just for heat but to build layers of flavor that are hard to find outside of China. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, and the staff is always welcoming and quick to help. Whether I’m dining in with friends or grabbing takeout, the experience is consistently excellent.

It was a great dinner. Did was serve fast and family style with large portions. Service was a little fast pace. But works definitely go back.
