Maika'i Hawaiian BBQ

I tried the mini curry chicken katsu plate today and found it quite enjoyable. Despite being a mini portion, the serving size was ample. The chicken's batter was crispy and flavorful, complemented well by the curry and katsu sauces. The macaroni salad was also well-made and tasty. The counter server was friendly and provided prompt service. I plan to go back and try other dishes.

Came here for lunch and wasn’t busy at all. This place serves traditional Hawaiian plates. I got the bbq and Katsu mix and the portion was huge. It could’ve have been 2 meals but I’m a big boy and missed breakfast so I was starving. The meats are served with 2 dollops of rice and a macaroni salad. It also came with a Katsu sauce and a sweet soy based sauce.

Tried this Hawaiian spot and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and super comforting. The portions were generous, the meat was tender, and every bite had that perfect island taste. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re craving Hawaiian flavors or just want something different and delicious, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Holy macaroni (salad) No seriously, I ordered the chicken plate with the barbecue chicken and the chicken katsu and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rice and macaroni salad are amazing but that cabbage... another level!!! I will be back weekly!!!

Great food great service. The staff was welcoming and patient. I thoroughly enjoyed the bbq chicken plate with the macaroni salad and rice. I will be back to visit my new favorite Hawaiian bbq spot.
