I found a gem! It was my first time trying Indian food and I loved it. The service was excellent. This place is not upscale, but the food sure is. I'm definitely going back. My full respect to the chef 😋.

Mahek is an absolute gem on 1464! The food is consistently amazing — full of rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. Every dish tastes thoughtful and authentic. The service is just as great. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always quick to check in without being overbearing. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your meal. I always leave happy, full, and excited to come back. Easily a 5-star experience every time!

I recently visited the newly renovated Mahek Indian Restaurant in Sugar Land, TX, and I was thoroughly impressed! While they offer an extensive range of delicious desi dishes, I have to say their Chinese food is absolutely amazing – a must-try for anyone visiting. This was my first visit after the renovation, and the fresh, modern ambiance added to the overall dining experience. Prakash, also known as Rocky, was at the counter, and he provided exceptional service. He processed my order in minutes, all while being incredibly friendly and welcoming with a warm smile. If you’re looking for great food and excellent service, Mahek is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Happy to have discovered a new Indian restaurant close to home. Mahek has a good ambience, a wide variety of options to choose from and good service. We tried their Samosas, Paapdi Chaat, Paani Puri and Chicken Boti Paratha. All the dishes were tasty and served well. I strongly recommend Mahek to all people wanting to try out Indian cuisine in the Sugar Land / Richmond belt. If you are willing to travel a bit far from Houston, Katy, Missouri City etc. you won't be disappointed.

So I called and asked them if they have sweets and if they make their own sweets. The man on the call was rude and said yes and hung up abruptly. I went there and ordered 4lb of kaju katli. He said he had more in the back and there I saw them filling the tray with READYMADE sweets from NANAK. They lied about it. Plus the guy on the counter “Prakash” is very rude and not at all costumer friendly. He was the same with 3 other people behind me as well. Never going there again 👎🏼
