Lydia's

Our lunch at Lydia's last week was absolutely delicious. Fried catfish was cooked to order, seasoned to perfection, super fresh. On the side, the mac and cheese was creamy and the cornbread dressing moist. Lydia came out of the kitchen to greet us, and we were happy to tell her how much we appreciated her skill. Let's support this great local restaurant in Sugar Land!

We loved our meals. The catfish is fried perfectly and is better than any place around Sugar Land. The smothered pork chop was tender and moist. Our sides were pinto beans, buttered white rice, cabbage, and mac and cheese. They were all fantastic. This was our first time to have a meal from Lydia's, but it definitely won't be the last.

The Mac n Cheese is a must get as far as sides go. The salmon was really good with a nice crust on the outside and still very juicy on the inside. Multiple visits will be necessary as the menu varies by day.

I have eaten here a few times and tried multiple dishes. The barbq ribs, pork chops, baked chicken, collard greens ( which are sooo tender), rice, mac and cheese, and cornbread dressing which is absolutely delicious. Yall are sleeping on this one. Try it she serves lunch, dinner and brunch. Go support local and get huge portions. So good!!
