Luby's

First time at lubys in a few decades. Nice to see a place where you can eat for around 10 bucks. Chicken fried steak and 2 sides. Needless to say, no leftovers. Crispy steak and everything was perfect. Those potatoes and spinach and roll. Had water.

Good value and the food is fresh. This Luby's is a much-needed jewel in the heart of the Medical Center. A place where you can come in, quickly get a balanced meal, and get out. Plenty of parking and good service. Long live Luby's!

Arrived from our place ride in and thought we'd try something new to us. Exactly what we expected with one exception, the service was fantastic. You may not think about service in a cafeteria style restaraunt however, these folks have it figured out. If you're looking for some homestyle food with a cafeteria flare, this is the spot. We'll go back.

The food was prepared especially for me due to my food sensitivity while eliminating garlic; Also, it tasted delicious! The service was impeccable. The food was properly handled without cross contamination, the salmon was scrumptious without garlic, the atmosphere and service was remarkable due to the waiters accommodating all the requests in our large group by providing a clean room and nice set up, and the staff was very energetic and friendly.

Great food! Great service! Just like I remembered from my childhood! The square fried fish still taste exactly like it did way back when! So good! 10/10!
