Lotus Seafood Restaurant

My first time there today and I enjoyed it. Walked in and ordered my food to go. It was pretty busy inside but not too crowded or overwhelming. We were helped right away and it took about 25 minutes to receive my food. It was not a long wait at all. I ordered the fully loaded loud pack and the hot box in mild. They came with a pack of crack sauce and we tore it down. I especially appreciate them making sure no egg was in the rice as my son has a severe allergy. My experience was great and I will be back.

I heard about Lotus seafood on YouTube and promised myself to try it if I ever visited Houston and l came all the way from Miami just to try it while on vacation and the food was amazing, the People was so nice I have no complaints. I wish I had better pictures. I didn’t order more food Togo.

I frequent the lotus on Veterans Memorial mostly, as it’s closer to my house. I’ve heard so many great things about the Stafford location and since I was in the area, I decided to give it a try. Needless to say I will stick with my veterans memorial location, while Stafford has the bells and whistles of a nice, updated area inside, it’s nothing like the customer service at veterans and the food and flavors at veterans. Maybe I am a little bias. Lol. Portions on my loud pack felt like I was most definitely missing some items. The food was hot and fresh, just missing my veterans memorial flavors. Yes at Stafford, you get daiquiris which I thought did not have any alcohol in them and mixed drinks. I felt as if I was having a slushy, and not the one from sonic. The mixed drinks might be good, but I didn’t try those so I can’t speak on them. It is counter service and you clean your own tables, granted the person before you clean up behind themselves. If you’re in the area, I suggest you give it a try otherwise I would not make a commute just to go here. It’s pretty basic to say the least.

Great food. The crack sauce lived up to the expectations. The rice and shrimp were on point. Gumbo had a bunch of protein, super loaded. Will definitely visit again.

First visit and I will not be able to rave about my experience enough! Various cool artwork and modern decor. Mentioned it was my first visit and received the royal treatment. Went the recommended Hot Box and it was a great portion, so flavorful, fresh and had me licking every drop off my fingers. Staff is walking around constantly bussing tables and cleaning. Restroom was neat with lighted mirrors in hallway giving a neat photo opportunity. Here for business this week and will be back for more and bringing my team 😍. And that crack sauce….lawd. I’ll be dreaming about it 😅
