Los Faroles in Houston is absolutely fantastic—everything on the menu is delicious! The flavors are rich, authentic, and satisfying. One of the highlights was the Mangonada—sweet, tangy, and perfectly refreshing. If you enjoy bold and spicy food, you’ll love their dishes, but I do wish they’d turn up the heat just a bit more. A little extra spice would take it from great to unforgettable. Still, a must-visit spot with great service and an inviting atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of stopping in for lunch while out in the area preparing for an open house. All of the staff were very courteous and attentive. My food was delicious and prepared how I requested. I indulged in a margarita and it hit the spot. The manager Francisco was very helpful and kind as well. The price for lunch and a beverage was very reasonable. I will be back anytime I’m working in the area and can’t wait to try some of the other menu items, it all looked amazing.

First time trying this place. My experience was not bad but it was not the best either. Service was ok. Lady that sat us at our table didnt even say hi. After that we ordered drinks. My margarita was ok, not weak, not strong, not the best. We were served chips and salsa. I ordered some street tacos, meat was a little bit hard, rice was good, and charro beans are more like baked sweet beans. I asked for some spicier sauce for my tacos. I was charged 1.50 (I understand some places like to charge extra but most places dont). This place has seating inside, a little bit of patio and a small bar. Plenty of parking. After 50 dlls our food was ok and service was ok. Its a hit or miss.

This place is a little drive for us but worth it for price, quality and service. They are pretty quick so we order our appetizer then when that comes out our dinner but they have everything very well timed. They're drinks are excellent with a changing happy margarita flavor. For those restaurants confused on what a botana plate should be, see below.

I would swear my margarita had jager in it but the waiter said it was grand marnier. The carnitas were good. The beans were sweeter than I like them. The wife said she like the margaritas but the beef enchiladas were bland.
