Had this place on my itinerary when I came for the Cardi B concert and omg, I was not disappointed! I had to order more to take back to Mississippi honey! Everybody was friendly and the service was FAST! And the food was phenomenal! Glad I decided to try them out! Loved the fish and grits! Loved the beignets too! Better than cafe du monde in New Orleans in my opinion! I will be back my next time in Houston!

Food: We’ll you straight to the point this is the reason why you’re reading this review is because you wanna know how the food is and I have to say that the food here was great and here they make the food when you order so it’s not something that’s given to you within five minutes or you probably might have to wait 1520 minutes because they actually make sure the food is hot when you receive it. I had the snapper Cajun pasta with shrimp and it was fire. Take a look at the pictures very seasoned very well and tasty. Food look great and also tasted very good. Atmosphere: atmosphere is OK it’s kinda like your whole in a wall spot in Houston that’s there for good food. I ate there and it was pretty tight inside. You can check out the video that I posted but other than that, don’t expect, high-end restaurant you can expect great food though. Service: Service was really great there. The ladies took care of me. They came out delivered my food with a smile made sure I was good. Asked me if I needed anything and they got it for me..

I had the shrimp poor boy which was amazing. I watched the lady in the back making up the Cajun sauce which was perfect. The fries were properly crisp and seasoned and I brought home beignet which exceeded my expectations. if you like collard greens these were awesome.

Angelia is awesome! I complained that the etoufee is gross. It tastes just like the type of gravy typically used for smothered pork chops. Angelia was super nice and made everything right! She let me exchange it for something else. The greens are really good. The fish is really good and the black bean burger and fries are also really good. If you stop by, you can definitely order one of these and its pretty good!

Tiny spot in downtown Houston, but the Cajun flavor is loud and proud. Little New Orleans may not take up much square footage, but it fills the whole block with soul. We went on Fat Tuesday and let me tell you, that gumbo was dark, rich, and packed with depth. The jambalaya came in swinging, bold seasoning, perfect heat, zero shortcuts. Big Louisiana energy in a small Houston space. The gentleman running it, I believe the manager, was super friendly and hands on. He knew customers by name, joked around, checked on tables, and made everyone feel seen. He’s from Louisiana himself, so when he and my husband started talking about their Louisiana roots and heritage, it wasn’t small talk. It was pride. It was home. Small place. Big Cajun flavor. Real hospitality. Five stars all day.
