Layne's Chicken Fingers

We decided to try this establishment after seeing the many positive reviews. While the experience wasn't terrible, it ultimately wasn't a place we would return to. The food was decent overall. The chicken tenders arrived hot and crispy, although a few portions seemed slightly undercooked. The grilled cheese was actually excellent and ended up being one of the highlights of our meal. $6 for a grilled cheese is ridiculous to be honest. The service was friendly, and the staff was pleasant to interact with. However, the restaurant itself was noticeably warm inside. For a June afternoon, it was uncomfortable enough that we found ourselves wondering whether the air conditioning was functioning properly. Unfortunately, that took away from our overall enjoyment of the visit. Cleanliness was another concern. The table where we sat had visible crumbs on the seat, which we ended up cleaning ourselves before sitting down. The menu is somewhat limited, and while the food was acceptable, it didn't particularly stand out to us. If I'm specifically looking for chicken tenders, there are other restaurants I would personally choose first. One thing that surprised us was being prompted for a tip during the ordering process. Since the restaurant operates more as a counter-service establishment where customers bus their own tables, it felt a bit out of place. The restaurant does offer a convenient drive-thru option, which many customers may appreciate. Overall, we can understand why some people enjoy this establishment, but between the warm dining room, cleanliness concerns, and food that didn't quite meet our expectations, it wasn't a place we felt compelled to revisit.

We went here to try it out, but honestly it didn't really impress us. The chicken strips were just okay, nothing special. I got the club sandwich, and it was basically three chicken strips with bacon and cheese on bread. Not what I was expecting, and overall it just felt a bit underwhelming. Probably won't be back. but the service and environment is very nice. people friendly.. and welcoming..

Honestly this place, in my opinion, is better than Canes. The tenders actually have flavor and doesn't taste like it was dunked in old oil. The frys were good and so was the sauce. The toast was good. Definitely recommend to come at least try.

Exemplary customer service provided by Ms Adriana! Got to the window a few minutes to closing. Ordering process was quick. Adriana (drive through) was welcoming with a giant, warm smile. She asked about my day and I was pleasantly surprised when she mentioned she was about to get off after working an almost 12 hour shift! Her demeanor was still very cheerful. Thank you Ms Adriana! I hope your manager takes note of your hard work and commitment because that's rare nowadays.

First time trying Laynes The chicken fingers are better than Caines and they have spicy.. Fries are excellent This is the family dinner you get for $50 bucks 20 fingers 4 orders of fries Toast and 8 cups of sauce
