The experience was a bit underwhelming. The wait staff was great and very attentive. I was a bit surprised that there really wasn't a lunch crowd since we arrived during peak hours after church on a Sunday. The menu had some great offerings and the photos of dishes were very inviting. The regular staple "chips & salsa" were delivered but the 'red salsa' for my palette had a taste closer to spaghetti sauce... not bad, just not a salsa I would want to have. The green salsa was OK, but nothing memorable. I had the 'chilaquiles' that was a lacking a little flavor and rather than add their table salsa, I asked for 'pico de gallo' and "Valentina's Hot Sauce" which ordinarily would be heresy and insulting, but unfortunately it made it slightly more palatable... I will try something different next time another opportunity presents to dine here...My last experience here was more than 15 years ago. Apologies for the review.

Came here and had the Dragonfruit Mezcalero as well as the Mil Amores and La Santa. The drinks were IMMACULATE. It’s been a while since I’ve had really good drinks at a Mexican restaurant. The were well balanced and strong! I also saw they had brunch. Will be returning for that as well

Food/service is always amazing here. My family eats here at least once a month. The fajitas with the mushroom pablano toppings are so good. The chips and salsa are also delicious. Place is clean and has very cool decorations. Lots of room for large parties and an outdoor area with playground. Highly recommend.

We’ve been coming to La Hacienda for over 20 years, and it continues to be our absolute favorite. The food is always delicious, consistent, and full of authentic flavor. Their margaritas? Hands down the best in town. One of the things that keeps us coming back is the incredible staff. Many of them — including Melchor and others — have been there for years and truly feel like family. The warm atmosphere and familiar faces make every visit special. La Hacienda is an awesome restaurant and, in our opinion, the only truly great Mexican food in Cypress. Highly recommended!
