When I’m craving Italian, La Griglia is always the first place that comes to mind. It’s elegant, perfect for a romantic dinner, business meeting, or bringing friends who are visiting Houston, and it truly never disappoints. My go-to dish, and the one I always recommend, is the short rib cappelletti. It’s incredible. For appetizers, the shrimp & crab “cheesecake” is a must. They also have a great cocktail menu, an excellent wine list, and you absolutely cannot skip the brown butter bread pudding for dessert. The service is always on point, friendly, and knowledgeable, and valet parking makes everything easy. La Griglia is definitely more of an adult, upscale dining experience, and it’s one of those places that makes every visit feel special.

We had my birthday dinner here and the patio was absolutely magical. The staff out there never missed a beat. The server had some awesome recommendations. The seafood cheesecake was different but creamy with flavor. The different gentlemen checking on us had amazing table side service. This is going to become our new spots. Parking was valet but easy and convenient. Restrooms and halls were clean and tidy. We really had a wonderful time.

Food and drinks were good. Staff was friendly. The steak was cook perfectly and the ambiance at the patio was great. It has good selection of wines. Parking is by paid valet and it isn't cheap, so come prepared or walk from nearby street parking. Cocktails were good too. Overall a good experience.

The entire experience was just absolutely phenomenal. Alexander took such great care of us, as did everyone else. Took my wife here for our anniversary and the entire team made it such a special experience. The food was to die for. My first time having lamb was incredible. They made her her favorite, chicken parm, which was an off menu item. Alexander was able to navigate us through the menu - their house red wine was delicious and their cocktails were wonderful. This is likely our new yearly anniversary spot. 100/10 recommendation. This restaurant is the definition of hospitality.

This was the most mid fine dining I’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and while the place looked nice, everything we had was so overpriced and mediocre. I’ve been to Perry’s Steakhouse and not even paid as much as we did here. They give you some pizza bread as an appetizer that looks like it was from some pizza they had left over from the day before. I was taken back when I saw it because it was so unappealing. We tried the steak, a pasta, some appetizer with prosciutto, got two drinks each and I tried some fish. The bill was over $300. The waiter we had was polite but I wouldn’t waste my time going here again because of the food. Idk if there are good reviews just because of the service or the ambience but I think people just be lying because of the aesthetics. That’s my hot take on this place. Thanks for reading.
