I have been waiting for a Guatemalan 🇬🇹 restaurant to come to katy for so many years and it’s finally here. I came for breakfast, but decided to do lunch instead. It was an amazing atmosphere and pretty chill, but with an authentic feel and the music was so relaxing, that I almost fell asleep eating 😂, but seriously. The staff was very humble and attentive. Then the food was freaking amazing with its authentic taste as well.

Yummy.... We just happened upon Kiche Restaurant and are so glad we did! The service was absolutely amazing—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes for both great food and great service, but Kiche truly does. We will definitely be back!

The food was very good. It felt fresh, almost homemade. Very authentic despite being my first time trying Guatemalan food. Atmosphere and service was excellent. They had marimba going in the background. Overall a great experience. Very family friendly.

Well, being from Guatemala , I had to try this place and I ordered the Kak'ik. I can honestly say it was pretty good. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a soup for comfort. Place was nice, customer service was very good, la colombiana was very attentative Will definitely be back to try all their dishes.

My wife and I live in Cypress, but we were out in Katy in support of a friend at an event. After we finished, we came over here to El Kiche because I had found it on Google Maps earlier in the afternoon while researching the area. I use Google maps exclusively when trying to find a place to eat, and always look for places with a 4.5 rating or higher. This one had a 4.7 and was very close to where we were. it was also unique in that it was Guatemalan. After discussion with our server and getting recommendations, we both had the Combo Chapin with fried plantains for an appetizer. All of it was fantastic and we especially liked the churrasco and the thick corn tortillas. we will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
