Thumbs up for this one! It was a pleasant surprise. The place is super charming, it has good music and decor, and they have a full bar. The atmosphere is very enjoyable. I wouldn’t use it for a date, but certainly for hanging out with friends or coworkers. They have pretty good deals for combos which is basically food by the pound, if your group is more than 3 I will certainly recommend you to do that. Food was fresh, flavorful, and well portioned. The service was very attentive, it felt like family owned, and very servicial. They have private parking and indoors and covered outdoors seating.

This place has a great environment, friendly service and a nice menu of Cajun seafood options. The catfish strips were lightly fried with great flavor. Rice was very flavorful and even the tartar sauce had a Cajun twist and was very good. Loved this place we will be back!

We’ve been going to Hank’s Crab Shack over the years, it has always been hit and miss. Some days they were slammed with customers and couldn’t get a table and other days, it was dead and the service was as well. As like many others in the restaurant business, they were affected hard during the pandemic, it was evident in the quality of the food and service. It seems that the restaurant was bought out a month or so ago and they have new owners. I can’t rate on the quality of table service as I did takeout. I did sit at the bar to grab a drink as my food was being prepared and it took about five minutes to get service. If you’re looking for Cajun musical ambiance, well it doesn’t have it anymore, gone is the Zydeco and Swamp Pop, replaced by urban music. In regards to the food I ordered, the wings were delicious, well fried and seasoned. The crabs were seasoned and cooked just right.

I’ve gone to many seafood places like this so I had high expectations. It was my first time going to this place. As soon as we walked in it felt super hot. Another customer was complaining and was told that the AC had issues. They had a fan on the floor and didn’t bother to turn it on. For the food, we order spicy and extra spicy jumbo shrimp and snow crab w/ garlic butter in it. I was extremely disappointed, there was no flavor and it was super watery. The food was so hot that we couldn’t even touch it. We also ordered Crawfish, I can say the crawfish was the best part. Fried mushrooms were good too. We asked for a side of spicy seasoning and we were told all they could give us was a Cajun season shaker from another table. If you’re looking for flavorful seafood boil, THIS IS NOT IT . Definitely not worth paying over $100. Our server was great and attended us really well.
