I hope this is not a new trend, but las two times I’ve had kolaches here the filling has been underwhelming to say the least. I just bought 8 kolaches and the 4 brisket ones were 90% air. I don’t mind paying extra for the brisket, but we were all disappointed this morning.

Some of the best kolaches in Houston. Love the shop design, its vibes, simple layout for a quick in and out. I don’t believe there is any seating so it’s only take out. Quick and efficient service by super friendly staff. I can see why they have so many regulars and is a local favorite! Seasonal kolaches like the Lebanese sausage and the Nutella kolache were great and filling! Not for those who are on a diet but good for those looking for a filling bite!

First of all, you are not likely to find better or higher quality kolaches within 71.7 (or 86.7) miles from this location - if you love kolaches as much as I do, you'll know exactly which two places I'm referencing. Maybe equal within that distance, but not better. Second of all, the service is always helpful, courteous, & patient (especially when the line is long & someone is having a hard time deciding what to order). Third of all, if you can, order online for pickup & skip most of the line. You still get what you want & it takes the pressure off of everyone involved. And last, but not least, do yourself a big favor & visit when the monthly specials are available. Some are far better than others, but none disappoint. As a guide, I was talking up the quality & taste here among a work group that covered five countries & three US states. Everyone thought I was overselling...until the next morning when I brought in a variety for everyone to try. Universal accolades of the highest order from Houston to South Louisiana to Florida to Norway to Canada to Scotland. Even from India (veg only).
