A small mom & pop shop with a big taste. I’ve read some of the reviews here and I’d like to clarify some things. Kolaches must be warmed up to be soft, don’t overdo it otherwise it’ll be hard bread, but don’t do it too little or it won’t be good. The icing depends on the weather. I’ve noticed that during the hot and humid days, the icing melts. However if I say I transported in my car which I have the AC blasting then bring it inside the house where the AC is also blasting, the icing will hold. It’s just how it is here and Texas. Now I’ve had the kolache and a cream filled chocolate bar, and I must say. The kolaches are super soft and the donut with the filling is actually filled with filling. I hate it when some places skimp on that but they don’t here and I’m very happy about that. Like with any place, sometimes you might find them on an off day but for this place, so far I haven’t had it where their products were way off. I encourage anybody to stop in here and give their donuts and kolaches a try!

We decided to get kolaches from this place after seeing the high ratings. Completely disappointed on the food. The choices are definitely great but the Kolaches seemed stale, dry, the filling was very less and taste was nothing but average. We ordered chicken which was pretty chewy and dry, brisket with cheese and jalapeno which had no cheese or jalapeno, italian chicken croissant which was good but barely any filling. We left most of the kolaches after taking a few bites. Donut was also packed in a way that bled most of the chocolate on the paper wrapped around it. Their latte / speciality coffee machine is broken so didnt have a chance to try that. Service was good but definitely never returning back here. There are way too many kolache places that serve fresh and more flavorcul kolaches. See pictures.

First time in this Kolache bar place. Easy access and parking from Fry road. The place is small but clean. The products are good, the choice is a little bit limited but I came on Saturday at 10:00 am…so it could be the reason. Definitely need to come back early to check if there is more varieties especially with eggs.

So I decided to stroll by and give into the temptation that is on my way to my house. Very clean and simple setup they have going on. Nice couple seems to own the shop. They had a variety of kolaches and donuts available ! I got a sausage croissant and the kountry kolaches along with a regular jalapeño cheese sausage one. They were all nice and fresh. The breading was flakey and buttery tasting yum! The donuts I like are cake donuts and they had them so yes… I ate those too haha ! Why not? The vanilla flavored was my go to. Support your local business and give them a go!

Kolache Bar on 8350 Fry Rd, Cypress TX 77433. This place is small but has good tasting Kolaches. I had Barbecue Brisket & Cheese and the Italian Chicken Croissant. They both had good flavor. They were polite and the place was nice and clean. Definately come and visit . You won't regret it.
