We visited Kiran’s for a Father’s Day and birthday dinner. The food was good, the ingredients seemed high quality, and the cocktails offered creative Indian-inspired twists on classic drinks. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. My issue was more with the overall value. Kiran’s positions itself as a fine dining destination, but the experience did not consistently match that standard. During dinner, a staff member carried a baby high chair overhead right next to our table, which felt out of place in an upscale setting. The restaurant also advertises a dress code, but it did not appear to be enforced during our visit. While I enjoyed the meal, nothing we ordered felt memorable enough to justify the premium pricing. Good food and good service, but when considering both the dining experience and the cost, I left feeling this was closer to a 3.5 to 4 star experience than true fine dining.

But they have more authentic dishes and flavors than many other indian places in Houston. The Dosa was the absolute star of the dinner. I just came back from India a month ago, and the dosa taste was nearly identical. Also the mango mousse dessert was shockingly good! The garlic naan was mid though

Food was excellent . We enjoyed it thoroughly. Everything came out quickly. We ordered Delhi chaat, tandoori Quail, tandoori chicken Chicken tikka masala, Rogan Gosht, rumali roti, chapathi, peshwari naan and crème brûlée . Quail was super tender , tandoori chicken was very good( could have been spicier but was flavorful), rumali roti was big and chapathi comes as 4 to an order. Crème brûlée was with saffron and mocha macaroon and was excellent. Rogan Gosht was tender and very flavorful. Would surely go back and highly recommend the restaurant .

Good food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. Do not come here expecting authentic Indian food. There are many other options for such food. This place is an upscale dining experience with fusion food. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. We tried a variety of dishes. All came out well prepared. We enjoyed the entire evening. We arrived around 530pm and the place was quite empty. Hence, there was no wait for a table. The service was really good and they made us feel very welcome. We extended our meal for quite a while but they did not hurry us. The warm moist towlettes at the e.d were a nice touch.

Loved the ambiance and the service. The staff and the owners, are very warm and welcoming. Special call out to Devyani, our server, who made our dinner special. The food was also good, just that being an Indian I have had better back home 😀. Recommended..!
