Although this was our second time coming to this bakery IT WILL BE OUR LAST! Our experience this time was completely unsatisfactory and we will not be giving our hard earned money to Lucy love bakery again. On the day of pickup my husband picked up the cake, the manager did not give him a top for the cake. After my husband asked her multiple times for something that should have already been given to him the manager responded with “are you special needs or something, I don’t have a top for the box!” After speaking with her for a little longer she was finally able to find a top for the box. That was the first thing about this situation that her customer service was unsatisfactory. The second, when looking at pictures of the cake we noticed that the back of the cake was not finished. When I called to express my concern she already knew what she did wrong and explained to me she did not have the correct materials to fulfill our cake order so she decided to not finish the back of the cake but in turn expected us to fulfill our payment. After being hung up on. I called the next day to ask for a partial refund since my order was partially done. At first she offered $10 worth of pastries. I explained to her I wanted a partial refund and she refused. After talking to her and expressing to her I would prefer a partial refund, she became angry with me and was very rude because she did not feel like I deserved any money back she felt as though the cake still looked good even though she purposely did not fulfill her end of the agreement and gave us a cake that was not finished and was never going to say anything about it to us when we picked up the cake. The manager is extremely disrespectful, very rude, short tempered, and does not fulfill the agreement of your order but expects you to pay full price for half the work. WE WILL NOT be coming back to lucy love bakery because of our terrible, rude, and disrespectful experience we had and I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU STAY AWAY AS WELL!!

Very rude woman. No customer service skills at all. She asked me if I was “Special Needs or something” because I didn’t want to take the $250 cake I purchased home without a top on it. I had to then demand her to produce a top for my cake box I got home and we realized the cake was leaning and she didn’t finish putting icing lining on the base of the cake. My wife called her to make a complaint and when she told her what cake it was she said yea she didn’t have enough space on the base to finish lining the cake. That was never discussed when I pick up the $250 cake. She then got an attitude with my wife and hung up the phone in her face. The calling and hanging up continued multiple times. This was my second time coming here for a cake for my daughter and I will NEVER come back here again because of the deceptive practices, name calling, and her hanging up on my wife multiple times. Customer Service is O out of 5 starts

It is a very good place if you want something very good quality. I wanted something simple but beautiful for my baby’s first birthday and the lady (I didn’t get her name) help me to put my ideas together. I also want to thank the young girl attending she was so nice. The cake ended up being over budget but I was happy with what I get for the price I pay. The caramel flavor was awesome!!!! Thanks again.

David and his team did an outstanding job on my Dad's birthday cake. From our initial meeting to the final product, the whole process was wonderful. We came in with somewhat of an idea for the cake but his team really helped us take the idea to another level. The cake turned out beautifully and the tasted AMAZING. Our guests really enjoyed. I am very pleased with the level of service and professionalism I received here. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
