Great vegan options and have been coming here for years. However today I found a little black beetle (?) in my spring roll. I pulled it out and killed it, and then when I opened the roll a whole FLY fell out, still partly alive! Yikes, will not be returning to Kim’s sadly. They need to clean up the place and get a health inspection. The veg pho was fire though.

I am leaving this review in hopes the owner will read this. My first time here and I do not think I will return. The food was okay, the lady serving us was nice but the restaurant is very very dirty and it makes me wonder if you allow the front area, where guests are sitting, too look so dirty, how does the kitchen look? There were expired sauces on our table, the salt and peppers were covered in sauce and grime, crumbs and dust everywhere in eye shot of where you are about to eat. I wanted to leave but my husband is more polite and we stayed to eat. He ate all of his. I barely touched it. You need to clean this restaurant. It is very disgusting and unappetizing.

I drove back to this side of town specifically to eat here after an appointment I had because when I used to live here this was my go to spot for Vietnamese cuisine. Unfortunately I was not pleased today. Evidently they have a lazy cook who is just rushing out orders and not giving a care about what the food comes out like. The fried tofu appetizer is my favorite and today it was a mushy mess. Used to be super crunchy on the outside with a panko batter and serve with a red spicy sauce. I'm not pleased. Also the lunch special says your order comes with a spring or egg roll and I never received that at all.

Went that for the first time for an early dinner 5:30 on a Friday. We were the only ones there but with how good the bahn mi’s were I don’t see how. The best tofu bahn mi I’ve had anywhere in Houston. The bread was warm and soft, big and plenty of fried tofu in there, fresh veggies and the sauce the put in there is so good. The service was amazing as well. We will definitely come back. Our new go to for sure! We also for got the Vietnamese coffee which was perfect!

I’m not going to try to spell these menu items, but they are both listed as the most popular under buns and soup on the menu. We arrived at the restaurant at around 1 and ordered some tea and and milk tea. The milk tea was no too sweet, so it was pleasant and drinkable. That was a big worry of ours. I got the dry noodle dish, it came with a side of carrot and fish sauce to pour on it. The flavor was amazing. The noodles were cooked well and it has just enough peanut to add to the flavor without taking away from anything else or being over bearing. The soup though was out of this world. My friend ordered they spicy soup and said “make it hella spicy” and they asked if he was sure. Yes! So they added a lot more chili oil to the sauce. It was not really spicy though. There was a nice initial tingle, but it did not linger like other spices. The flavor was outstanding. I will definitely be back to get it next time. The only complaint was that we were sitting and having a good time at the end of the meal when the owners(?) came up and boxed our leftover food. That was really nice of them, but they kept coming over every few minutes to push us out the door. I said that I didn’t want a bag for my food since I hate wasting the plastic. And he comes back 10 minutes after boxing our food. He put mine in a bag handed it back and said “thanks for stopping by!” Ok message received that we are not welcome to stay and chat. We left then. That was the only slight negative. We will be back though.
