Khyber North Indian Grill

I have visited this restaurant with my team almost a decade ago (last time visited in Feb 2015) and had the best mango lassi I ever had. I have numerous times bragged that the best lassi I had was outside India at this location. I visited again recently with my family this time and experience was awesome. It’s an upscale Indian restaurant with moderate open kitchen concept (speaks about the food quality and standard they want to offer to their guest) Lunch buffet has lot of items for Veg and non veg delicacies. My wife really enjoyed as well as food was not overly spicy as Indian food sometimes tend to get carried away. Mango lassi also was good. Met the owner as well and shared my experience with him. They have survived a decade and more surely food and service is good. Hope to visit again when next time in Houston.

We have gone to Khyber a few times and they’re always delicious. Today we had their lunch buffet, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The customer service is truly outstanding—the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even assisting my elderly grandmother to her seat with so much patience and kindness. The buffet was a perfect way to try a little bit of everything, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. They also brought naan directly to our table, which was perfectly fluffy with a slight crisp. And to top it all off, dessert was fantastic! If you’re looking for delicious Indian cuisine with warm and attentive service, I highly recommend Khyber. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Was here on a Friday where they had the buffet option. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Going into the restaurant the ambience was a cool, casual, setting . The service and the waiter there were very helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed the chicken, biryani, butter, chicken, naan, and tikka masala Tikka masala - 8/10 Chicken Biryani - 8/10 Butter chicken - 9/10 Naan - 8.5/10

Reliable, good Indian buffet. Not the cheapest at $22 per person but certainly in a more upscale atmosphere than the usual Hillcroft restaurants. Food on par with any other place. No better, but certainly no worse. Love the fact that they make their naan bread fresh and brought it out often. Very good service. We were a party of 5 (one person did not eat at all) and there was a service charge tacked on already. A little weird but not sure if that is their standard practice.

Buffet selection of great Indian food! Plenty of tables and space for any size of groups. Couldn’t get enough of naan and palak paneer!
