Katz's

First time visiting at first glance the restaurant is very clean and had a nice relaxed atmosphere which was nice after a long day. Now the food I ordered the southern fried chicken. It was really good with just a hint of lemon pepper. The food was hot fresh. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend visiting.

Had a fantastic lunch today after the Dr. visit. I had the Katz special, a corned book on rye with Russian dressing and cole slaw. My only complaint was it needed a little more Russian dressing. The was fixed ASAP by our waiter, Gee, when he brought me an extra cup of the dressing. I also had the house fried chips (FANTASTIC). My wife had the Monte Cristo. It was great but the sweety/spicy dipping sauce was next level great. We of course ended with sharing a cheesecake milkshake. Tres Leche! Gee gave it a shot of caramel since it obviously needed more sugar...lol. We love our lunch and will be back again!

Had not been to Katz’s since 2016 at the Montrose location. Was looking for a place open Christmas Eve and remembered this place never closes so decided to give this location a try since it’s closest to me. So happy we did. The Reuben sandwiches (turkey for me/ combo of corned beef and pastrami for hubby) were so delicious and the potato pancakes were to die for. Hubby and I finished it off with the blintz’s for dessert with chocolate and strawberry toppings. Our server, Gee, provided excellent service and was so friendly and helpful with good suggestions. We will definitely be back again soon and this will become a regular spot for us!

Food was solid and delivered on what you expect from Katz’s. The sandwich was good — generous portions, fresh bread, and well put together. Simple, satisfying, and filling without trying too hard. The drink was also good, refreshing and paired well with the meal. Atmosphere has that classic diner energy, service was fine, and overall it felt like a reliable spot to eat at. Nothing wildly fancy, but it does what it’s supposed to do — and does it well. Would come back. Solid 4/5 experience.

Last minute breakfast run on the way to work but worked out perfectly. We were quickly served drinks and I decided to order the Texas Brisket Benedict and a fruit plate. In no time out food was served. Food was fantastic and we even got a visit from the general manager to ensure we were satisfied with the service and the quality of food. Fantastic place that will definitely be visited again. Give it a shot!
