This is a great local spot with large portion size, food and friendly staff. We drove in from Sugar Land to celebrate a friend's birthday who loves this location. The service was prompt and food was good. I am a big fan of seafood and the only small complaint I had was the food tasted a little too fishy for me. Hard to explain but the next time I come I might try one of their meat dishes. It's located inside a strip mall and they have a huge private room if you want to rent that as well.

My husband and I have been talking about trying this place out for a couple of years now, and decided to have a mid week date night here. We absolutely loved this place and hate that we had not come here before. The atmosphere is nice and casual, and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous for the price point. We enjoyed every bit of both of our meals and will be definitely coming back again.

I’ve always wanted to try this spot. On Mother’s Day my husband brought us to Joe’s Oyster Bar & Grill. Loved the food. We ordered grilled crab fingers which were absolutely delicious. Buffalo Wings which had the perfect amount of heat to it and the meat was tender. Decent sized wings. Very good. New England Clam Chowder, creamy and amazing. For our entrees I had grilled cod & grilled shrimp. You may also order it fried. The cod was grilled and seasoned perfectly. It melts in your mouth. The shrimp also were perfectly cooked. My husband ordered a ribeye steak smothered with gravy, onions & mushrooms. With a side of fried okra. He loved it. The meat was tender and not overcooked. Yes we will be adding this to our list of favorite places to eat in Rosenberg. The service was fast and very friendly. We go out to eat 1-2 times a week and we will definitely be back at Joe’s. They do seafood Right!

I’ll start with the positive, Amy was great. She was attentive and engaged and we enjoyed her as our bartender/server. The food was good, but not good enough to deter from the owner acting like he did not want to be bothered by the slightest engagement with me trying to give a compliment. There are endless restaurant options these days, and as this industry evolves, you may want to act like your patrons matter…especially when your menu had digressed and pulled away from the seafood-driven restaurant you first established yourself to be.
