Extremely disappointed – bland food, poor value Peking duck, and a neglected, dirty restaurant I’m very disappointed with my recent visit to Yantea. The wonton soup was extremely bland, tasting like noodles and toppings dropped into plain boiling water instead of a properly simmered broth. The Peking duck flavor was acceptable, but the skin was tough rather than crispy as it should be. What really upset me was the price: $30 for half a duck, yet it came as a tiny 11” plate, poorly presented, with no wings or legs—just a small amount of shredded duck skin and minced meat. It honestly looked careless and unappetizing. I’ve eaten here several times before, but I’ve never had an experience this bad. The restaurant also felt poorly maintained: staff were sitting around while the place was very dirty and messy, and most of the lights were broken, making it dark and uncomfortable. I hope the restaurant improves, but unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

They are located inside the H Mart food court on the right side. Everything we've ordered so far had really good flavors. Each ingredient had its own unique flavor that came to live all together. The stone pot dish is absolutely delicious. The soup was tasty and rich (we had better soups) but nevertheless, it was good. We came a few times when there was only one employee both taking borders and cooking. He did such an outstanding job. We will definitely keep coming.

Edit: I returned and tried this restaurant. It was an amazing surprise. The bibimbap came out in the sizzling hot stone and the flavors were on point. The egg was a little over cooked but apart from that I had no complaints. We will be back! I ordered a bibimbap and I got it served to me in a plastic bowl. Everything in the bowl was ice cold (they were all taken directly from the refrigerator and placed in the bowl) except for the rice. I tried my best to eat it but I just could not. I am truly disappointed. I’ve had Korean a million times because we are a Korean household and I’ve never had Bibimbap served in a plastic bowl and ice cold.

The tofu soup took almost 25 minutes to come out, thankfully it was decent. I would totally come back IF not for the sour face cashier lady. She has the bulldog face that is angry and sour, and when we placed the order, it seems like she was doing us a favor!! No smile, rude, no thank you. If you are the owner, shame on you for acting like this. If employee, you better earn your pay. Trash customer service is the number 1 reason customers will avoid coming back. Learn the basic customer service and etiquette.

Got there little more than 1 hour before the restaurants close and only half or so of the restaurants were open. Out of the open ones, Jang Guem was the only one that had vegan options available. We got Mushroom version and Fried Tofu version of the tofu soups. None of the sides were vegan friendly. Food was ok, broth for the soup was lacking depth of flavor. It just had spicy, that was it. It seemed too pricey for what I got. Shared table area was extremely dirty. Looked like no one cleaned it all day and customers were cleaning their own areas. Probably the dirtiest H Mart food court I've ever seen.
