This place was recommended to me by a Jamaican lady I met in the city. The jerk chicken plates was really good! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the jerk sauce was not too hot. The cabbage and rice and peas were average. The plantains were good and sweet. The curry chicken patties were tasty and the curry was very flavorful. Never had doubles, my first time was great they reminded me of like a sweet cornbread almost. Will definitely be back!

OMG the food is so good and the server was friendly & helpful. The chicken and shrimp pasta was plentiful and flavorful with just enough spice. The beef patty filling was seasoned and dough waa flaky. Others in our group had the whole fish plate, oxtail plate and shrimp plate (mango curry) - all had rave reviews too. Portions were plentiful. So worth the wait as everything waa freshly made. We are so glad we found this place while visiting the area for a football game.

I've tried this restaurant for years off & on, because the food is hit or miss. Tonight was the worst food I've ever paid for. Beef patties were mehhh/okay, but the curry shrimp were overcooked and sauce was old curry paste with water in one part of the container. Rice peas dry without me adding oxtail gravy which was bland/lacking flavor, overcooked plantains, and bland cabbage. This was the 4th strike, so I'll never go back to waste $60 again.

Very very good Jamaican food, with a kind staff. My wife got a jerk chicken plate which came with a few pieces of bone in chicken. I got a two meat plate with paradise fried chicken and jerk chicken, two bone in pieces of each. Every plates comes with a good portion of rice, plantains, and steamed cabbage. The jerk chicken was fall off the bone tender but that fried chicken was not only fall off the bone but soo good. I tried the jerk chicken and spicy mango sauce, both were great with a little kick. The staff was super kind and even let me try a curry chicken meat pie which was also very good. I would definitely recommend Jamaican paradise kitchen!

We are self proclaimed connoisseur of Jamaican cuisine, and unfortunately this restaurant fell short of our expectations and pallets. The pros; The service was friendly and ultimately awesome! We ordered the rasta pasta with shrimp and chicken, and coco bread, festival, and got 2 beef meat patties to go. All were delicious! The cons; My husband said his oxtails were undercooked and lacked that Jamaican flavor and texture which gives the oxtails that authentic taste. He also said the jerk chicken lacked seasoning and flavor, with the jerk sauce being too sweet. The interior of the restaurant appeared a bit disheveled and not inviting for dining in. Would I dine here again? Maybe.
